To help you find the perfect pair, I’ve tested and reviewed some of the best manga lash brands available today. 1. Noonlash

Noonlash seems to be the perfect blend of everything I like in a lash. The clusters come in 6 different styles ranging from natural to wispy volume. I tested their namesake lash “Noon” which provides a nice wispy look and 3D fluff. The lashes themselves are noticeably of higher quality, even compared to Lashify which is surprising since they are a third of the price. This is thanks to their Korean Silk technology which makes the lash fibers look and feel like natural lashes. The lashes are bound to a clear band that is ultra thin but they are durable and don’t break when removing them from the tray unlike some of the cheaper mega packs available.

Application wise, the system is a standard bond and seal with applicator. I love that the bond is not too sticky and is buildable since my lashes are so thin, I need a little more bond to get things to stick. The thin band makes the lashes ultra comfortable and easy to form to my eye shape. I was able to wear the lashes for 5 days which is my typical limit so I can get a good cleaning of my natural lashes. I have to say that one of my favorite things about the kit is the remover, it literally MELTS the lash bond while keeping my natural lashes safe.

For $55 for a full kit and being able to re-wear them multiple times, Noonlash balances quality with price and longevity. This was the clear winner for me and if you’re looking to try cluster lashes I highly recommend it.

I’ve heard a lot of positive and negative reviews on Falscara. With how accessible these lashes are in common drugstores, I was definitely interested in testing these out. My first impression was that these lashes are cheaply made but for $25 you get what you pay for. The lengths come in short, medium, and long which works for me.

The glue is really sticky and gets on your skin pretty easily compared to the other brands but application is standard to the other brands. On the lash they are pretty with a nice even wisp. The longevity leaves you wanting more with how sticky it seems during application. If you’re looking for a lash to quickly grab on your way to an event this is a decent option. Nothing that there is only one style to choose from so if you like a really light wisp, then this is for you.

3. UCoolMe

UCoolMe has done a great job reaching a younger audience with their trendy styles and multi-length sets for roughly $40. I got swept into the UCoolMe band wagon after my 20th video and bought a couple of styles “Venus” and “Fairy”. My thoughts are that the lashes are pretty but cheap, I ripped roughly 25% of the lashes when trying to remove them. On the eye, they are pretty but I prefer to use re-usable lashes in order to minimize my waste.

The lash trays include over 100 lashes with a wide range of lengths from 8-18mm. It’s great to have so many options but I really only use 3 lengths rendering more than half of the tray useless. The “Fairy” lashes are definitely a more manga type lash and they are really cute with a decent longevity with four days of wear. Overall these are nice one time use lashes with trendy styles, not the best but depends on your priorities.

4. Giani

In an effort to try all forms of lashes, I discovered Giani which seems to be a rising competitor of Wosado. The brand has only three styles: Simple, Medium, and Full- I went with Simple for $35. If you’re looking for a wide range of styles to choose from this might not be for you. The magnets are also attached so if you have narrow set eyes, cutting and customizing the length is not an option.

In terms of application, similar to Wosado the magnets attached easily to the applicator but it took a couple of presses to get them to connect to each other on my eye. The lashes have a nice curl to them which I like, and overall I think this would be my preferred magnetic lash.

Removal is always a little bit of a struggle separating the lashes and taking some of my own with it which is the worst outcome for me. I like that you’re able to save these lashes and keep them in their new state since there is no glue that needs to be applied. If you’re looking for convenience for something you wear and remove daily, these are a potentially good option if you like one of their three lashes.

5. Lashify

I had the highest hopes for Lashify because of the price point and the popularity, let’s get into it. For roughly $120 you get their full starter set with 20 segments, bond, seal, remover, and applicator. The packaging is definitely luxurious and the lashes are well made but my biggest gripe is that they are made to be worn once which is insane for how expensive they are.

They have a wide range of styles and I decided to go with the “Plushy” for my usual wispy style. After trying them on I noticed that the band was a little stuff which helps with the fibers staying on the band but it did not easily form to the curve of my eyes. Wear time was decent with a six day wear. I was hoping for some life changing results but for the cost I’d rather choose another brand.

6. Obeyalash

Obeyalash lash is a decent strip lash brand with a good variety of lashes from natural to volume. I tested out their 13mm Anime lash. The criss-cross shape and the lightness of the design is what attracted me to this style.

There are a few nice things about Obeyalash. The band is clear and thin which is great to achieve a natural look and the fibers are quite soft. When it came to application, I tried the traditional method of over the lash for the strip but found it difficult to get the whole lash on. I also had to cut the end off of the lash which takes away from the intended natural look. After tussling with the lash for a while I decided to just cut them into clusters because I wanted a rounded look.

The lashes on were pretty, maybe a little too animated for my preference. I was able to preserve some of the intended style since I had cut it up so you can see a more rounded look from my picture above. Overall, strip lashes aren’t for me and I if I have to cut them up to be comfortable and fit me, I’d rather go with a high quality cluster lash brand.

7. Losha

Losha is a highly rated brand of strip lashes on TikTok with styles leaning more towards popular trends in Asia. I went with their Anime eyelashes that are “made to look like cluster lashes” because of the peaks throughout the style. You get a tray of 10 pairs of strip lashes that look really pretty.

With strip lashes, always test the length against your eye just in case you need to cut off the ends. This was the case for me. I ended up cutting about a centimeter of the lashes which is unfortunate since the full lash tapers down in length at the end for a natural lash map look. Putting on the lash was a little bit of a struggle since it had been a while since I applied over the lash strips. I had to adjust the ends and find the right timing to adhere the band to my eyelid.

After cutting and applying the lash the first thing I noticed was the thickness of the band which looked like thin eyeliner – not a terrible thing! Wearing the lashes throughout the day brought me back to old cautions of worrying if the corners were popping off, not fun. Overall the lashes are pretty but I’d rather use clusters for a more custom look that actually fits my eye.

8. Wosado

I admit I was intrigued by the novelty of magnetic lashes and Wosado is the most popular brand so I gave them a go. The packaging is substantial and feels nice with a space for a pair of lashes and magnetic applicator in the center. For $50, you at least get to wear the lashes a few times since they don’t use glue.

Application was a little tricky with the placement of the lashes being counter intuitive. In order for me to get the most seamless look, I got as close to my lash line as possible and it took a couple of presses before the lashes magnetized to each other instead of staying on the applicator. I’d recommend curling your lashes or applying mascara to maximize the lift. Removing the lashes was rather difficult since the magnets were really stuck together, this made pulling out my own lashes highly likely.

Overall, Wosado is a higher quality magnetic lash but I don’t like the look because of the lack of lift and the space between the magnets on the lash is very apparent and creates a disconnected look.

9. Moxielash

Moxielash uses a magnetic eyeliner to attach the lashes to your eye. The “Essentials Kit” is $24 and comes with the “Classy” and “Cheeky” lashes. The magnets are spread across the lashes in little segments.

I don’t love the fact that you have to use an eyeliner to apply but I gave it a go and the liner was able to give me a decent cat eye. The texture of the liner is a little odd, it feels like eyeliner mixed with microscopic beads. After waiting 2 minutes for the liner to dry I will say that the lashes attach to the liner pretty well. The issue for me is I don’t like to apply eyeliner across my entire eye so this was not the right product for me. Removal was a little concerning because I did not want to get whatever is in the liner in my eye. The kit comes with cotton swab remover which is a nice addition. Overall this is not convenient enough for my lifestyle with too many additional steps to apply and remove.

I gave up on strip lashes a long time ago but when I saw that Eylure had ¾ length lashes, I decided to test them out. Since my eyes are smaller than the standard, I always had trouble finding strip lashes that worked for me. The “Light Volume” lashes from Eylure are a steal at $8 but they are very stuff and look too unnatural for my liking.

The application is a standard above-the-lash process with applying glue on the strip and getting as close to the lashes line as possible. I will note to remind you to curl your lashes to properly blend your lashes together! Overall, the band is too stiff and the lash fibers look too artificial, it’s a no from me.

Summary

There are so many lash options out there and depending on your lifestyle, you may have different needs. I came into testing thinking that I wouldn’t find many differences between the brands but who knew lashes varied SO MUCH? What I gathered from testing out these lashes is that you get what you pay for and if you find a brand that is diverse enough in its styles with an affordable price point, stick with them!
