It’s truly amazing what some people will try to do to make some money, even when they know what kind of toll it might take on the people around them. An insurance scammer was caught on tape thinking that he could make some money from an innocent woman, but what he and his friend didn’t realize is that the driver was more than prepared.
An unnamed woman was driving down a street in the UK when all of a sudden a man started backing his bike into the woman’s slowed down car. He then flung himself onto the car and began to act like he was incredibly hurt from a fake accident. With a friend in tow, the two proceeded to act out their scam out in front of the dashcam, in almost too-perfect view.
The woman at first is relatively shocked at the situation, but she manages to gain control. While the motorcyclist pretended to have serious back pain from the hit, she decided to point out the dash cam, which quickly made the two men freak out about the entire situation and run away.
While it’s hard to know whether the woman pursued the situation harder, it’s a strong reminder of how terrible people can be in this world and how even in our most careful moments, there can be people that are lurking around to steal from us. It’s a strong reminder that we should always take necessary precautions when out in public.
Of course, the world can be a beautiful place, but it’s always nice to get a reminder of what is out there. We hope that these guys learned their lesson and that this woman’s responsible action to keep a dash cam is a big lesson for everyone out there- always record everything! We don’t know what people will be up to next, but a cam in your car might be a pretty good start!
