Avengers Assemble! If you are familiar with this, then you are a certified fan but did you know the Avengers can dance especially Thanos? Well, sort of.
It’s that time of the year again where students proudly show off what they have in store for their annual pep rally but these passionate students from Walden Grove High School in Sahuarita, Arizona took their pep rally to the next level last Friday, September 6! Their perfectly synchronized dance routine is also the summary of the Avengers movies. Clearly, the Avengers craze is not over yet.
Choreographing a dance number for many students is already a tough job but incorporating the Avenger’s key scenes is taking this project intergalactic! This 7-minute video will surely take your breath away. No wonder why their performance has gone viral!
Well, this isn’t their first time getting the attention of the netizens either because last year, they also went viral as they presented their harry-potter themed dance number. This year, they did a great job as they wowed the audience with their performance. Definitely marking another homecoming to remember!
This video clearly shows how dedicated these students were as well as their choreographers in making this epic dance performance possible.
Their costumes were amazingly creative, each one keen to details of each Marvel character. They definitely took the time to make sure that these students get into character.
A successful dance routine should also have that perfect collection of soundtracks that will make the concept come alive and make us groove to the dance as well. Enjoy the mix of The Beastie Boys’ “Intergalactic”, Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody”, Blue Swede’s “Hooked on a Feeling”, Snap’s “I’ve Got the Power”, Timbaland’s “4 Minutes,” and a whole lot more that will surely make you enjoy the dance even more. Don’t forget the iconic lines from these characters as well.
Their choreography is also well-thought of. Kristi Lopez, the choreographer, and head coach, as well as Carlos Quihuiz, dedicated their time and effort in ensuring that this dance number will be all worth it.
Finally, we must commend how these passionate students gave life to this amazing plan. They were able to execute each step with passion, agility, and of course, be in character while making sure that they are enjoying themselves.
Each iconic scene from the movie was shown in this 7-minute dance performance, from how Thanos was able to take all the infinity stones to our beloved Iron Man’s sacrifice. We should also give credit to how it’s so fun to watch the Marvel Characters dance, especially Thanos!
They definitely nailed their performance as they were able to re-tell the Avengers movies, allowed us to enjoy seeing our favorite superheroes groove to the music and most of all, see how they were able to re-tell the story in just 7 minutes by dancing!
