In-charge toddler shows teen boys how to command a crowd
He's loving every second of being the boss.

Being a toddler naturally involves being led, rather than being the leader. But some toddlers just can’t help themselves, and taking control of a crowd is just part of their nature.

One little lad at a Camp Rockmont base discovered his chance to lead when he stumbled across a group of 500 boys in a field.

Despite only being a toddler, the little boy understood the concept of what he had to do here: every time he clapped or raised his hands, the entire group of boys would let out a mighty cheer.

Such was the little lad’s delight, he couldn’t stop throwing his arms into the air to watch his reaction play out. When he lifted his arms, the boys would lift their arms and cheer. When he clapped, the boys would clap. He had them completely in his power!

It must have been amusing for the boys in Camp Rockmont to have such a young leader.

They’ll be more used to being led by adults, but they were still more than happy to go along with the toddler’s actions!

But how long after the video recording did he actually continue for? An hour down the line, and he’d probably be getting a far less enthusiastic response.

People in the comments all seemed united in the belief that the little leader had big aspirations with the future, notably to become the next president of the United States.

While this does seem a little far-fetched to us, perhaps there’s something to it. He’s seen how easy it is to get a whole bunch of people under his thumb – but his biggest selling point is probably the novelty of being a toddler. Shame he can’t look small and cute forever.

The best thing about this video, which has been viewed more than 11 million times, is that it was posted by the little boy’s actual family.

This means the world has easy access to their YouTube channel, where they have more videos of their toddler that prove he’s more of an innocent little kid than the world’s next dictator.

The video was posted 6 years ago, in 2014, so the toddler is toddler no more. We think we get a glimpse of him in a slow-mo video posted two years ago, and he’s either being unintentionally spat on by his brother, or he’s the unintentional spitter. Another YouTube memory he’ll look fondly back on in years to come.

In a world of fear, conflict and unnecessary drama, this video of a toddler making a crowd cheer is exactly what you need to see.

We’re not surprised it’s been viewed so many million times – it’s a guaranteed cheerer-upper. Had a bad day at work? Watch this on your commute home (just not if you’re driving). Concerned about COVID-19? Give your brain a break with one minute of light-hearted humor. There’s no-one who wouldn’t feel their spirits lifted by a toddler directing a cheering crowd.

If anything, it’s worth watching just to see his adorable expression of glee when he turns around to face the camera. He’s probably never seen so many teenage boys together at one time, let alone made them cheer.
