When you hear music, your feet start tapping and your body starts moving. If you’re in your car or sitting in a restaurant and start to feel the beat, you may even start doing a little dance in your seat. You don’t have to hide it, we all do it whether we admit it or not. You may even be doing it right now if you’re listening to music while reading this.
Then there are those of us who will jump out of seats and start moving, no matter whether we’ve got rhythm or not. These “dance like no one is watching” types are usually free-spirited and love a good time.
Then there are those who take dancing to the next level.
These are a special breed of people who can learn dance moves, not just by themselves, but in a group. They not only learn the moves, but they can also do them together, synchronized, and make it look good. Now that’s a talent!
This group of dancers had every move down and people stood and took notice.
From the toe-tapping to the turns that were on point, this group didn’t miss a beat. They not only had matching moves, but their outfits complimented one another too.
There’s no doubt that it took quite a while to not only get these moves down but to learn them and do them together. They not only do them together, but they do them well…very well.
Have you ever tried to do this type of dancing?
Line dancing isn’t anything new. They started in the 1970s and early 1980s. Disco music was mainly the roots of line dancing, but country and western music also had an influence. Back in the day, dancers would just dance to whatever was played. They just wanted to get moving.
That’s certainly what they were doing here.
This group not only danced to one but at least two songs that were caught on this video. That’s without any breaks! Talk about energy and stamina.
The crowd that circled around them was certainly in awe as they watched the dancers strut their stuff. Everyone stood by and watched the entertainment. Maybe they were trying to figure out how to do those moves too? Who knows?
The funny thing is that all of the dancers make this look effortless. They look like they’re just going out for a stroll. They don’t seem to be getting tired nor do they miss a beat. It seems like they could recite the encyclopedia while doing these dances. That’s how easy they make it look!
Even towards the end of the video, they continue to glide around the floor, still making it look easy. You can tell they’re all fit so that probably has a lot to do with it.
Of course, when the dance is over, they get a huge round of applause. Who wouldn’t cheer for these awesome dancers? Since this video was shared five years ago, it’s gotten over 200,000 views. That’s a lot of people who have been mesmerized by these amazing dance moves.
