Life on the farm is a lot of hard work. It takes a great deal of time to tend to all the crops and animals. By the end of the day, farmers are pretty well spent. But, that doesn’t mean that it has to be all work and no play.
Meet one farmer who is proving that there’s still plenty of time to have fun on the farm.
Mike Dickson, otherwise known as “The Fit Farmer” isn’t too shy to show off his moves. He not only has the fancy footwork but also makes videos to show off what he can do.
He’s no stranger to dancing on the farm. He struts his stuff on his YouTube channel and Instagram account from time to time.
But, a dance-off challenge had Dickson really breaking it down.
All of the farms in the area were challenged to do a dance off video. It appear Jason from Cog Hill Farm is known for his moves. Dickson says while his moves may not be as fancy as Jason’s, he and his family can still break it down on their farm.
The challenge was accepted and it was time to move!
Dickson not only got dancing, but he had his three children and wife also getting up to the groove.
At the beginning of the dance-off challenge, Dickson takes on some moves from Michael Jackson. With his hat, jacket, and some swag, he proves that you can dance off in the middle of a farm.
As the video goes on, his kids are really feeling the beat. His daughter starts moving and shows that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
She proves she has the moves too. We also love her headband accessory! Real dancer material!
One of his sons was up next, moving and grooving as well. He also proves that he’s not camera shy. Although he doesn’t have the accessories that his sister shows off!
Next up is the smallest child of the bunch. While he may not be standing and dancing, he does those cool seat dances that we see so many adults do in their cars!
He even has a small pot as a prop while he sits among the lettuce plants.
Then dad and the kids get in and dance together, proving it’s a family affair. We assume mom must be the one videotaping all the action. But, don’t worry, she gets in there later.
There she is! Mom shows off her moves with the kids, proving she’s got it too!
And wait, the daughter has added sunglasses to her accessories. Love it! The little guy gets up to show he can move on his feet too. He’s more than a seat dancer!

By the end of the video, everyone is dancing. If this doesn’t inspire you to get moving, we don’t know what will! While we don’t know if they won the dance off, we do know they win the award for most family fun on the farm!
