Beverly from North Carolina was turning 70-years-old, but had always felt like a young version of herself. There came a time though when health issues struck and took away her positive spirit.
If there was anyone who needed The Makeover Guyโs assistance more it was Beverly. With the major milestone in sight, she wanted a fresh new look and hoped to reclaim the inner-vibrancy she always had.
They say โyouโre only as old as you feel.โ For Beverly, despite being older she felt like she was 30-years-old inside. Sadly, all of that came crashing down once she had rotator cuff surgery.
Beverly wasnโt able to go to the salon to get her hair done, nor could she style it at home herself. She went from being an energetic person to one that she could no longer recognize.
She explained in an interview:
โI was an enthusiast and very outgoing. I had so much energy and drive that people say I bounce off the wallsโฆand it was just go, go, go, go. And all of a sudden when the health issues came my body just said, โslow, slow, slow slow.'โ
Sadly, thatโs when Beverly lost herself. She admits that she just โwasnโt there anymore.โ Her young, vibrant spirit had been dimmed.
โI felt I was going to look 30 when I looked in the mirror, and when I saw that image I was almost teary. I said, โWhere is she? Where has she gone?'โ
People all over the world dream of going to Christopher Hopkins salon in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After all, heโs famously known as โThe Makeover Guyโ whose beauty transformations leave people feeling just as good on the inside, as they do on the outside.
Beverly too was a fan that wanted his help. After seeing a video online of a woman who traveled all the way from England for a makeover โ she decided she could make a 2 and a 1/2 hour flight.
Although the mom was excited to finally be in Christopherโs salon chair, she was also anxious and feeling โunpredictable.โ It was time though to rediscover the youth she had lost.
But could Christopherโs magic help in Beverlyโs case? Oh yes, it did. Itโs a transformation that could bring a tear to your eye.
Beverly looks absolutely stunning with a new bouncy hairstyle and makeup. Not only do years appear to be shaved off of her appearance, but sheโs successful in reclaiming her old inner-self too! The 69-year-old feels so good she even twirls around with Christopher.
On top of that, her daughter is there to confirm just how beautiful her mom looks. Itโs a reaction thatโs genuine and priceless. Thereโs no question that The Makeover Guy was exactly what Beverly needed to start her lifeโs next chapter.
