Who here has not seen a curious cat?
They say that cats are very curious beings. In fact, they are the subject in a proverb that says, “Curiosity killed the cat,” which means sticking your nose somewhere it doesn’t belong may get you in trouble. As they are naturally curious creatures, you would often see them get involved in a sticky situation, mostly caused by themselves. But, all cat owners agree that their curiosity is what makes them sweet and adorable.
Cats get silly when they encounter new things. How about encountering other creatures that they have not seen before? You’d surely expect it to be hilarious. First, once they set eyes on the animal, they would tiptoe around it and cautiously observes its actions. It is funny how their eyes widen the whole time they lock their sights on the unfamiliar creature. However, when the animal gives a sudden action, they would immediately jump away and run to the corners to hide.
Just like with this kitten who happened to meet a fawn in their yard.
This little fawn was left on someone’s porch. Mother deer often leave their newborns in safe places while they forage for food. It just happened that the doe chose this house.
The fawn laid obediently on the porch’s concrete floors waiting for his mother to come back. It is their way of keeping themselves safe from predators. Lucky for him, there is no scary predator except for a curious cat.
Jim Hausman, the owner of the house, opened his door to find the fawn lying still on their front porch. Miro, his calico cat, had shown interest in the defenseless creature taking up a spot at their porch. He found the baby deer laying still on their front porch. The curious cat could not help but stick his nose into the tiny fawn.
Miro tried to interact with the deer but got no response.
Miro made sure that the fawn would see him. He cautiously approached him and observed how he would react, but he did not get any response from the deer. It seems that the deer was set on ignoring Miro for the whole time.
Miro wanted to get the deer’s attention, and so he started sniffing him around. Still, the fawn never paid him any mind.
Miro’s interaction with the deer was way too adorable
The curious cat decided to lay flat on the concrete as if he was trying to imitate what the fawn was doing. After a few seconds, Miro got up to bug the fawn once again. Miro playfully pounced on him, and he gently tapped on the immovable deer. Sadly, he still couldn’t get the fawn to play with him.
Hausman was able to record their funny moment and uploaded it on the internet. Rumble Viral took notice of the clip and helped it become viral, racking up almost 6 million views. His original clip even managed to rack up half a million views. It is impossible not to adore Miro and his funny interaction with the fawn.
As much as people went to see Miro’s mischievousness, they also wanted to know what happened with the fawn.
People adored Miro’s playfulness, but at the same time, many people wondered what happened next. Luckily, Hausman uploaded a part two where he showed what happened to the deer. Hausman carried the deer out into the forest nearby, hoping that its mother would find him there. Hopefully, that fawn was okay.
Seeing Miro, you couldn’t help but think that other cats act the same. Most cats bug you in your sleep just because they’re hungry, they lie on your laptop’s keyboard while you are working just so they could get your attention, and if you show them TOO much attention, they will bite and scratch your hands. Still, though, all the cuddles they give make up for it.
