The perpetrators pointed a gun at her, robbed her, and told her to return to the car.

She was weak and frail compared to the men, so she had no physical advantage.

But Jordan is one smart and determined woman who wanted to fight for her life.

Jordan knew she had to act quickly if she wanted to survive.

She had just got off from work that day and was already outside her home.

As she stepped out of her vehicle, the men herded and mugged her.

The three of them threatened to shoot her if she did not stop screaming.

She was in no position to hit back, so she had no choice but to return to her car with her abductors.

Jordan shared that the perpetrators were unfamiliar with driving a stick shift, so they forced her behind the wheel.

One of the three men fled while the other two told her to drive to an ATM to get cash.

The young woman’s mind was alert, and her heart was determined to escape.

She withdrew $300 and went back to the car, and drove again with the two suspects.

Both men were talking about sexually assaulting her before letting her go.

This was something that set her off and made her want to escape as soon as she could.

She was in control of the wheel, and she needed to gain control of her situation.

She was silently driving, but her mind was in overdrive.

In a press conference to give credit to the young woman’s escape, she shared what went through her mind at that crucial moment.

“At that point, I decided that it’s time, and I need to get myself out of this situation,” Jordan told reporters. “I was thinking, ‘Can I crash the car?’ No, because it might knock me out and not them. ‘Can I pull over or something?’ I have to get away from them.”

When the guy in the passenger’s seat slightly averted his gaze to where they were to pull over, Jordan made her move to escape.

The young woman threw the gear into neutral and jumped out of the car running 35 miles per hour.

She saw a gas station, ran to it with all her might, and asked the staff to call 911.

Jordan was slightly injured with scrapes on her knees and some bruises.

Still, she escaped, and her bravery made way for the arrest of the three perpetrators responsible for other offenses, such as robberies and carjacking.
