4-Year-Old Sings Sweetest Rendition Of “Somewhere Out There” Ever Recorded

At the tender age of four, Kaitlyn Maher from Virginia graced one of the biggest stages in the world when she decided to audition for America’s Got Talent. Everybody watching thought that she was too young to try out for the show. But, after hearing her sing, they decided she might just be the one to beat.

Kaitlyn, who was then a kindergarten student, definitely knew what she was: a singer. She loved to sing and it was all that she ever wanted to do! At only a year old, Kaitlyn already started singing, according to her Dad. She would just sing and rehearse non-stop and that’s how her family knew that she had something really special in her.

Her entire family is with her in this momentous part of her life. Her parents are proud of Kaitlyn and they are always ready to support her every step of the way.

When the show’s host told her to go onstage, little Kaitlyn eagerly walked towards the marked spot. She was clutching the microphone in her tiny hands as she made her way in front of the judges and the cheering crowd.

Judge Sharon Osbourne could not help but smile at young Kaitlyn, charmed by the girl’s sweet and innocent aura. Sharon asked a few questions to get to know more about Kaitlyn, to which the little singer answered smartly. She could not even say her name that clear yet but Kaitlyn is definitely courageous as she stood there in front of all the people!

When she told Sharon that she just turned four, the English star was absolutely taken aback. Even the audience was quite amazed at Kaitlyn’s spunk and confidence. She was obviously a smart girl and she was absolutely charming!

Sharon also asked if she was from New York and she answered that she was from America! Everyone laughed out loud at her quick reply, with Judge David Hasselhoff cheering really loudly. Her answer was so innocent and honest that they just can’t help but love this adorable little angel.

Finally, Kaitlyn began her audition piece and the opening bars to James Ingram’s “Somewhere Out There” filled the air. It only took a few words into the song for everyone in the room to love Kaitlyn. They could not believe their ears at all! Her sweet voice was like a breath of fresh air. She may seem too young to sing but her voice and pitch are on point.

The emotion and innocence that Kaitlyn showed in her performance made everyone fall in love. At four years old, Kaitlyn is undeniably talented!

As she sang the iconic song, little Kaitlyn continued to touch the hearts of her audience. The smile on David’s face only shows how much he’s loving the little girl’s performance. He was clearly wrapped around this tiny girl’s finger!

Sharon was clearly smitten by this innocent girl’s amazing vocals as well. Kaitlyn may be one of the youngest ever to grace the competition, but she was such a strong and talented singer that the judges couldn’t keep smiling. Even the poker-faced Piers Morgan couldn’t help but admire Kaitlyn’s sweet voice!

She ended her song in a simple way but the audience who had the chance to witness her performance knew that this young girl had really something special in her. Luckily, the judges felt the same because Kaitlyn got three Yeses that day and was sent to the next round of the competition!

Kaitlyn is making her own name in the music industry. She is undoubtedly an artist and a performer through and through! She is still young and from what we can see, this girl is nowhere near stopping to reach for her dreams.
