Great music is something we can all appreciate. In times of stress and fatigue, a beautiful soundtrack can help calm your nerves and restore your energy. Apparently, we are not the only ones who can acknowledge good music because animals, like the dog seen in this young violinist’s street performance, seem to notice good music as well!
Karolina Protsenko is not even 11-year- old yet, but her amazing musical talent is something that has been commended by millions of people all over the world. Born in Ukraine, this talented girl has been performing in the streets and posting videos of her performances on YouTube.
She was only six years old when her family moved to the United States. It was that same year that she took her first violin lessons to become the amazing musician she is today.
Her parents may not have known it at the time but their decision to put her in violin classes was a smart one.
People online truly appreciate her music which has led to her having more than a million subscribers and tons of fans from different parts of the globe. During this particular performance, young Karolina plays the inspirational song “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” originally sung by actress and singer Judy Garland for her movie “Wizard of Oz”.
The song is already a legend for its moving melody, but even without lyrics, it can affect the listeners on a level that is hard to comprehend.
Although Karolina played this song on a busy street, the song still resonated with the audience because she played it with the right emotions and skills making people gather to appreciate the beautiful melody.
Karolina’s rendition was so touching that some people from the audience could not help but cry. Her performance may be in a simple stage but the soul and heart of it made it feel like those people were watching her play on an elaborate stage. Karolina was simply phenomenal.
Every note she played was consistent, clean and on point, undoubtedly full of the right emotions as she effortlessly conveyed it to everyone who was watching and listening to her.
And when I said “everyone”, I really meant every single one who was watching her, including one of the audience’s pet dog!
The pup was intently listening to Karolina, watching and following her every move. It was as if he was also affected by the beautiful music that Karolina was making. The dog’s eyes showed that he was completely enraptured by her and was absolutely taken by the young girl’s performance.
Eventually, the animal sat down and watched comfortably as Karolina went on with her number. He was very much at ease as he watched the talented girl play.
As she got near the end of her song, Karolina got more emotional and moved along with the music she was creating. Her every glide and smile showed just how much she was appreciating the song. This passion she showed is truly a talent that affected her audience on a personal level.
The song itself is truly an inspiring anthem. When young Karolina played it with all her heart, she made the song all the more exceptional. Even the dog was moved by her talent!
Karolina is still very young and definitely has a long way to go to achieve her dreams. But, she is one promising musician and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for her.
