Ballet is not an easy style of dance, so when you add jump ropes to the mix it can get especially difficult. This team of dancers took ballet recitals to the next level, with a rope routine that is sure to take your breath away. Watch these young talented dancer’s, own the stage with the beautiful performance.
These dancers are brilliant, incorporating a jump rope in the show is so unique!
When the young ballerina’s take the stage, you can see a jump rope dangling behind each girl
Dressed in majestic purple leotards, the ballerinas come to the stage with their arms linked. Jump ropes in hand, they make four lines of three and the show begins.
The choreography is phenomenal, they scurry about the stage to get into position for the first girl to start jump roping. That’s when the real spectacle starts to take form.
One dancer takes the lead with her jump rope until the rest of her team follows and they’re all jump roping
This is impressive, one wrong move by any of the girls and the show will be ruined. All as one, the ballerinas flawlessly jump rope to the classical music.
Seeing so many jump ropers at once is mesmerizing, mix in the ballet and you have one amazing show!
The girls spread out before coming together to create a double-dutch
All the ballerinas stand by waiting to jump into the double-dutch in pairs, while two girls control the jump rope. None of the dancers have any problem clearing the rope, I bet they’ve practiced a lot.
When the girls make a circle around one girl, you can’t see what is going on but its something awesome!
After the girls make a circle, the girl in the middle holds the other end of every jump rope in her hand. It looks like a marigold round of ballerinas
Wow, that looks so cool! Spinning in the middle is one ballerina, she holds on to everyone’s jump rope and it makes somewhat of an optical illusion.
Twirling, kicking and jumping, the young ballerinas really gave it their best!
At one point, three ballerinas jump using the same jump rope
What a wonderful dance routine, the jump ropes are such authentic props for the performance. The internet went crazy for the jump roping ballerinas.
