This mother makes her own, creepy, version of ‘Elf on the Shelf’ for Halloween instead of Christmas. It’s called ‘Doll in the Hall!’

Moms like, Natasha Hurdarovich, love spicing up the holidays with some unique festivities. So for Halloween, she decided to make up a creepy game that had her kids terrified, in a good way.

She calls the game ‘Doll in the Hall.’ It’s the same as the Christmas game, ‘Elf on the Shelf,’ but instead of a cheerful elf, it’s a scary Annabelle looking doll that haunts the house.

She moves the doll to different places every day, sometimes even in the kid’s own beds.

Natasha, who’s kids love scary things, has found a way to make this Halloween extra spooky. The Annabelle style doll that she moves about the house is seriously scary, no wonder the kids hate her!

The kids have an ongoing battle with the scary doll, they work as a team to fight her evil powers and have even thrown the doll away more than once. Although I’m sure they regret it, because every time they throw her away, mom takes it a step further and puts her in one of the kid’s beds while they’re sleeping.

Her daughter’s love for porcelain dolls inspired the idea, and the internet loves it! People all over copied the brilliant idea.

After her daughters’ dolls inspired her to create the creepy game, she posted it on Facebook and the internet went nuts. It was such a hit, she even made a Facebook just to show the dolls creepy journeys.

The Facebook page immediately blew up, and other people started sharing their own versions of ‘Doll in the Hall.’ Thanks to Natasha, kids are being scared everywhere!

“I’m doing Chucky in a chair! Thanks for the inspiration, oh and he’s activated and speaks lines from the movies.” Said, one Facebook user, another said: “This is our second year. Prepping Dolly for tonight.” Wow, that’s creepy!

Some people might get the wrong idea, but Natasha ensures that the kids love the scary game.

There’s always going to be the people that think some things are too much for kids, but Natasha explained how much her kids love the scary game saying:

“My daughter Adele (we call her Frankie) isn’t really as freaked out as she is curious. She reads a lot so she’s asking the typical haunted doll questions: What does she want? Where did she come from? How do we get rid of her? It’s awesome watching her 7-year-old mind solving the Mystery of the Haunted Doll. My son, Knox (we call him Betelgeuse), thinks it’s hilarious. He wants to do everything his big sister does, so he’s having a lot of fun with it. It’s a surprise every morning where she’ll be and how she got there. They’re into creepy things, Halloween, zombies, scary stories so they’re very entertained by it and very excited to have their own story to tell.”
