Ashes To Ashes
Most people celebrate the passing of oneโs life through a retelling of memorable stories or even sharing pictures and images that were special in that personโs lifetime. Some grieve away at all their sorrow with agonizing tears, while others look to a have a better perspective that would look to shine on a light on all the amazing accomplishments this person has achieved. Apparently, not all tributes to the after-life end in typical fashion. Marsha Widener, a woman who recently lost her abusive husband, is celebrating that she is finally rid of his terrible existence. What better way to accomplish this than to spread her late husbandโs ashes into the trash!

Marsha began her video by stating, โI know youโre not going to understand why Iโm doing this,โ and then saying, โhis family donโt want him, his brother doesnโt want him around, his kids donโt want him, actually, they want him to go in the gutter or the toilet.โ Evidently, her husband, who was named Don Widener, was a nuisance to everyone around him. He worked as a garbage-man that delivered to trash to the nearby landfill areas around the territory. Marsha thought it would make sense to deliver him back to the very business that gave him his livelihood.

You Reap What You Sow
Marsha unveils the bag containing Donโs ashes. She begins dumping the ashes in the nearby trash bin and mentions how destructive Don has been in her life and her childrenโs lives. Marsha claimed that not even his parents wanted him due to the immense amount of pain he has caused on both of their lives. It looks like Don wonโt soon be missed by anybody.
โThis is for all the pain and all the turmoil he has caused my children and myself and what he calls his parents. This is his goodbye,โ said Marsha. โThis is for all the times he kicked me in the head โ yup, he put my head through a window.โ

Moreover, as Marsha keeps pouring ashes on the trash, some of the dust got onto her face to which then she commented, โOoh God, heโs getting in my face! Nasty bastard!โ One could not help but laugh a bit as she was a bit comical, although also dark, about the whole thing.
If anything, it was at least a sign of relief to see Marsha taking the passing as a new chapter in her life and seeing her embrace the moment gives us some hope for other victims going through the same struggle.

One Womanโs Trashโฆ
The woman begins to empty the bag of remains into the ground and then begins to happily stomp on the ash for good riddance. I can imagine how good it felt to finally be freed from that horrid nightmare. Marsha looked to throw her hands up when she finished displaying one last look of her victory lap dealing with domestic abuse.

Marshaโs valiant display of showing the stresses one can endure from going through an abusive domestic relationship should show just how troublesome the issue at hand is. We should have more spaces open for conversations relating to physical, mental, and emotional abuse in the household.
There are too many women and people in general that face these trials and feel like they cannot voice their opinions and are just thinking they should just wait on the death of their spouse.
