When a group of tourists from India arrived in London, they expected to enjoy all the classic sights. Big Ben, the Tower, and the London Eye are all popular sightseeing destinations. What they didn’t expect to see was a flash mob performing a synchronized routine right in the middle of the city.

The April day was warm and sunny so the streets were crowded. Everyone was out enjoying the beautiful weather. But when three women began to dance to Beyoncé’s Run the World, it immediately drew glances.

And that wasn’t even the half of it.

Before long, the song segued into Everybody by the Backstreet Boys. And even more people joined the dance. By now, it was clear this was gearing up to be an epic performance.

But the dancers weren’t just dancing. They were performing flips and cartwheels across the London streets. As imagined, they were drawing a crowd — and no wonder.

But the flash mob wasn’t about to leave the dance back in the 90s.

Their routine included Can’t Stop the Feeling by Justin Timberlake. But the biggest surprise was when they broke out in a Bollywood-inspired routine.

There were huge smiles throughout the crowd as people held up their phones to take videos.

And then, even better — their company song began to play.

So of course, the tourists themselves immediately jumped into the dance. What started out as a performance became an impromptu party in the streets.

People online were inspired by the joy apparent in the performers and tourists alike.

“I love how everyone in flash mob vids are so happy, smiling, all getting along,” said one commenter.

“Too bad it can’t be like this all the time on a daily basis. Humans have such potential for greatness, kindness, & love, but waste time on petty things, fame, money, material stuff, hate, bigotry, etc, etc. I want a flash mob world where simply music, dance, fun bring everyone together”

The flash mob is from a company called Club Mob, which does — you guessed it — hired flash mob performances.

As it turned out, their performance was specifically for the tourists from Modicare.

“I absolutely loved this!” said one commenter. “The dancing was fantastic & so skilled & seeing everyone join in – the look of happiness on everyone’s faces made me tear up just loved it x [sic]”

Club Mob consists of professional dancers and singers.

They tailor each of their performances to a specific audience. In this case, it was the group of Indian tourists. Talk about a warm welcome.

“They should have flash mob daily in every city to get people together and interacting,” said one commenter. “it makes people happy and what a great way to start your day…happy and smiling…great job guys. [sic]”

Club Mob even offers a Capella singing performance. But that sunny day in London, it was all about the dance. There’s no doubt they gave the guests from Modicare a memory they’ll never forget.
