What may have started off as a regular shift for Georgia waitress Emilia Holden ended in anything but that. She was just doing her job when she got an unwanted surprise from behind.

Thatโs when a man walked by and decided to cop a feel of the waitressโ butt as she was working. But, it didnโt end there.

He obviously thought nothing of it because he kept on walking. He clearly didnโt realize that groping wasnโt on the menu. But, the waitress did and she wasnโt going to let him get away with it.
The man also probably didnโt see the restaurantโs surveillance cameras that caught his seconds of groping as well as what happened next.

The waitress quickly yanked his shirt and threw him to the ground!
This 115-pound waitress took down a 175-pound man. He obviously messed with the wrong woman. It didnโt stop there! In the video you can see her yelling what you can imagine were some unkind words.
Holden told People that she yelled, โYou donโt touch me motherf****!โ

Weโre pretty sure everyone around heard what was going on. Later speaking to a WTOC reporter, Holden said her reaction was sparked by the immediate fact that she knew what just went down was unacceptable and she wasnโt going to let this guy get away with it. While the whole incident lasted only 12 seconds, Holden said it felt a lot longer than that.
She said, โI was like, โno, youโre not going anywhere. Youโre going to face the consequences.'โ

The man, Ryan Cherwinski, did face the consequences. Her employer stood by her and told police he saw the whole thing happen. He provided them with the surveillance footage.
Police arrested him and charged him with sexual battery for the incident. Cherwinski was in police custody for two days before he was released. He told police that the incident was an accident and that he was only trying to get her to move because she was in the way.
But, Holden wasnโt buying it.
She told WTOC, โI got what I wanted, they put him in handcuffs.โ
The incident happened back in 2018, but the story has gone viral and is still getting attention.
Holden said she sent the surveillance video to her family. One person posted it and it just went from there. News outlets got a hold of it and the video is even on YouTube where itโs received more than 120,000 views.
After the story went viral, Holden started receiving so much attention from all over. She decided to use the situation to help a cause that means a lot to her. She set up a GoFundMe to support the Islands Feral Cat Project. To date, itโs received more than $3,700 of its $5,000 goal.
Also, after the incident, Holden says she was offered free martial arts classes that she planned on taking. It seems as though sheโs well on her way to being a success when it comes to self-defense.
