We are entering into day 3 of the United Airlines passenger controversy, and the CEO is still making apologies.
CEO Oscar Munoz went on ABC News and said in an interview:
“We are not going to put a law enforcement official to take them off. To remove a booked, paid, seated passenger – we can’t do that.
This can never, will never happen again in a United Airlines flight. This is not who our family, United, is.”
These comments came on the heels of three consecutive apologies from the CEO, after the first two were summarily attacked and dismissed by the angry public.
But Munoz is not stopping with stopping the police from removing passengers from their seats.
Munoz went further.
News broke on Twitter earlier that United Airlines is offering compensation to every single passenger who was on flight 3411, where Dr. Dao was forcibly removed from his seat.
Even this does not seem to be doing the trick.
It struck some folks as familiar.
They still have work to do.
It looks like this is a battle United will continue to lose.
