You don’t have to be a parent to enjoy feeding time for babies, but it certainly doesn’t hurt.

Feeding time is one of the most precious times for parents, guardians, and babysitters. Seeing the bright smiles on a child as they discover a brand new flavor can be one of the most memorable times anyone has with young children. For many adults, some of the funniest and fondest baby memories involve sweet treats.

It had to be the same way for Michael Hoffman, YouTuber and co-creator of All Boys But 9. His website and channel featured a video that hit the net by storm with over 7700 likes to date. This particular video captures his twin daughters sharing a plate of marshmallows. Both children are absolutely adorable as they explore their sweet treat, but the real attraction is their father’s reactions.

You can hear the smiles as he talks his children through the discovery of marshmallows. You can even imagine the love with every moment that passes.

Twin Babies on Break

This adorable video is actually the second in a series. Parents, guardians, and anyone who’s seen the joy of babies discovering foods may want to start with part 1. But if you want to skip ahead, here’s a quick rundown.

The first video begins with one of the twins proudly holding a bag of marshmallows. You can hear the father’s amusement as he loudly cheers on their discovery.

Oh! What did you get? Whoa! Those are Marshmallows.

Michael Hoffman, the father filming the adventure, talks with his twin babies about their discovery. He watches as one of the children struggles to open the bag to their yummy treats. After a few precious moments, Michael says “I can open them for you.” You can see the joy in the babies face as they rush over to their father for help.

It doesn’t take long for Michael to take a few marshmallows out to spread across a green paper plate for the twins to share.

Sharing is Darling

This is where the video begins. Both babies waddle over to the plate of treats and sit side by side. Both babies grab for palm pulls of the treats. Each grab and munch was followed by big grins and bigger giggles from the babies.

You can see how well behaved these babies are. There’s never any upset or shouting over the sweet treats. Both babies sit side by side and dig in.

The video reminds me how important sharing is. Whether it’s sharing treats, sharing time, or sharing stories, moments like these matter. Michael Hoffman likely wanted to share that same message with his viewers and fans.

It’s easy to see why Michael and fans find this video so heartwarming and peaceful. But the fun and laughs come just a few moments later.

So Many Marshmallows

About halfway through the video, the twin in white decides to show off. While her sister takes dainty nibbles here and there, the twin in white all but shovels marshmallows into her mouth.

As the hungry baby grabs for large palms full of treats, you can just imagine her cheeks filling like a chipmunks. Michael watches on with surprise and amusement clear in his voice. You have to wonder if Michael was imagining his daughter as a champion marshmallow muncher. Michael can barely hold back his laughter as he says:

“What?! That’s too many.”

But too many isn’t enough for this little girl. She grabs for more from the plate and floor. There’s love and cheer from every moment as the bright-eyed babies and their off-camera father share this moment. If there’s ever a mushroom eating contest, this champion baby is ready.

But all good things come to an end. As the last of the marshmallows are eaten, the babies smile for their father. Michael just has to laugh as he watches his twin children waddle around looking for more.
