This tiny dancer has almost 5 million views on YouTube and while no one can argue with her talent, people are questioning other parts of the performance.

A 3-year-old’s dancing is bound to be fun to watch. They don’t have a whole lot of body control at that age, but they can typically move along to the music – and they always have sass.

But little Roxy Brennan takes sass to the next level.

Let’s be clear – the audience is divided over whether such a small child in so little clothing dancing on a stage is adorable or cringeworthy. But with over 4.5 MILLION views on YouTube for this dance number alone, it’s clear that people can’t stop watching.

When Brennan first walks on stage, her tiny figure is dwarfed the AR National Dance Competition sign – a reminder of just how young she is.

But when she gets on her podium and strikes her opening pose, you know it’s no typical toddler up there.

While her opening moves looked pretty adult, it’s clear that a lot of practice went into this routine.

She performed shimmies, splits, somersaults, and cartwheels along with her poses.

Managed by her mom, Roxy – now 5 – is still dancing and even has her own Instagram account with over 10,000 followers. Her mom writes all of her captions, but from Roxy’s perspective.

Of course, Roxy has her share of detractors – or at least the people around her do. While comments are blocked on the YouTube video, people have taken to Facebook to voice concern for the little girl and her very adult dance moves.

Most 3-year-olds are still finding their rhythm, but Roxy is shaking her hips.

Very few people had anything negative to say about the tiny dancer, who they recognized as talented, especially for her age. Their concerns were more about the costume and choreography, and possibly the parents.

The costume is a bit revealing for such a young child. Kids love to play dress-up, but it’s hard to make the argument against a little more coverage.

Still, plenty of people defended the entire spectacle, saying she was clearly having a good time and that they didn’t see anything inappropriate about the number.

The feedback hasn’t held back Roxy’s dance career – she’s even a part-time dancewear model these days.

And while her “Covergirl” dance video went viral, nothing else has reached quite the many people. After all, it’s not often you see a 3-year-old take the stage in any dance competition.

At the end of the day, it’s clear that Roxy loves to dance (and mug for the camera). This year she even won the On Stage America “Miss Petite” competition for advanced 8 and under.

And it’s been clear all along that she has the attitude of a winner.

Roxy’s Instagram page is full of not just modeling shots but photos of her learning choreography and working on her flexible.

She’s clearly a hard worker, even as she now splits her time between performing and kindergarten, which she started just last Fall.
