It’s a given that people will have to start living on smaller surfaces in the future, but many aren’t willing to sacrifice surface area. Now, you probably wouldn’t even think about moving into a cabin, but you might want to reconsider when you take a look at the designs of a company called Tiny Luxury Homes.
One of their cabins is only four hundred square feet large, but truly has everything you could think of packed into a compact, yet incredibly cozy space.
Take a look at this seemingly small cabin, for example. It doesn’t look too impressive when seen from the outside, but it appears the saying “Don’t judge a book by its cover” applies here as well. With this cabin, its makers try to prove that moving into a smaller space doesn’t necessarily mean you have to sacrifice luxury or any amenities you might think of.
This cabin was recently featured on the social media pages of FYI Television Network, which has given people the opportunity to take a peek inside one of those tiny luxury cabins and see everything it has to offer for themselves.
The eye-catching thing is absolutely the incredible atmosphere that has been created inside of the cabin, it’s very cozy, homey and if you just saw pictures of the interior, you’d probably never guess it was a cabin at all. Every room in the cabin makes use of natural light as well as some bright and concealed spots in the ceiling, which is beautifully crafted out of hardwood.
The living area features some built-in shelves, a fireplace at the bottom at a nice television mounted on the wall. You might wonder how it’s possible that the area looks so roomy given the limited dimensions of the cabin, but it’s actually partly an optical effect. By using arched ceilings, people get the perception of being in a larger area.
Next, let’s take a look at the kitchen. Once again, there’s a lot more room than the exterior suggests here with a beautiful and large kitchen island right in the middle. And you won’t have to worry about camping meals because there’s a full-size stove built-in. Small fridges aren’t cool, so there’s plenty of room for a regular-sized one.
This 400 square feet cabin also features two spacious bedrooms, with room for a double sized bed and all the necessities you might think of. There’s also some room up in the loft on the top floor.
The builders of the impressive cabin are extremely proud of the built-in bathroom, which features a special incinerating toilet and a rain-style shower.
It’s truly incredible what you can achieve with limited space!
