As parents, we would be the first one to see our child’s talent even at a very young age. Now, it’s up to us on how we would support and nurture this talent until they grow up.
In Payton Kemp’s case, it was his grandmother who discovered his talent when he was just 3 years old!
This young child already had it in him, he loves to sing and can even perform at a very young age. His family was also very supportive of him and his talent. At the age of 9, he was already known to be a good and aspiring singer and musician.
In fact, he was already performing on stage plays such as Tarzan, Cats, and even The Little Mermaid!
Payton has been exposed to really good singers and musicians – thus inspiring him more. He’s also the winner in one of the seasons of Dixie’s Got Talent.
A video dated way back May 20, 2015 was considered one of Payton’s earliest viral videos. He was just 15 years old at that time and he performed the song “Thinking Out Loud” by none other than Ed Sheeran.
The beautiful performance was for his school’s talent show.
Most kids this age would actually be a bit shy to perform in a crowd, the fear of being judged and making a mistake stops them from showing what they can do.
Payton wasn’t shy at all; in fact he was confident and happy to be able to perform in front of everyone in his school.
In this special performance, Payton didn’t just sing, he even played the piano. Everyone was quiet before Payton starts and then they were mesmerized by this young boy’s performance.
He can sing beautifully and can even play the piano at the age of 15. His parent’s must be really proud of him!
The school gym was filled with cheers and applause every time the audience had the chance – they made Payton feel that he was loved!
It even seems like you’re watching a live concert – Payton sure has a future in the industry of music! No wonder he got the first place award for this performance!
Today, Payton is 20 years old, his voice may have changed a bit but his talent grew with him. He already has many covers and he has been posting them on his YouTube channel.
His channel already has more than 8K subscribers and his videos are going viral. Slowly, he’s becoming more and more popular and as this young boy becomes a man – his passion stays the same.
Payton’s love for music has only made him better throughout the years and we’re wishing him more success in this field.
The talent in music is truly exceptional, and for most of us – it’s a gift. A child possessing an ear for music, a sense of rhythm and a voice that captivates the audience is truly something to be proud of.
With proper guidance, practice, and exposure, talented individuals such as Payton would have a beautiful future.
