With the help of vendors, Tanvi always pulls out all the stops for the children in the shelters, giving them birthdays theyโ€™ll surely remember!

Tanvi doesnโ€™t do it alone, her parents help with anything they can, giving her the support she needs to throw successful parties. They recently received 501(c)(3) status for โ€œNo Birthday Left Behind,โ€ and she hopes the program will spread to other cities.

Tanvi has also created a guide that shows teenโ€™s how to start their own birthday party charity. Though the work isnโ€™t easy, the pay off is well worth it.

โ€œI see them laughing, smiling, I know when they blow out the candles they always look around to see everybody watching them and it makes me really really happy, that something so small just like blowing out their candles, is such a big thing to them, itโ€™s such a new concept to them. You know a whole birthday cake designed just for them and seeing their name on a cake, just makes me really, really happy, honestlyโ€ Said, Tanvi.
