The other three judges empathically turned their chair at the sound of her voice. The 4th judge was left exclaiming "I can't believe I did it again."

“Kelly Rowland’s tweet said that there was something really cool about me and that she hopes to see me next year, so I’m back!” said Lara while she’s being interviewed.

Last 2018, a girl named Lara Dabbagh auditioned for The Voice and sang “Rise Up”, though this girl obviously has some stellar vocals, none of the judges turned their chairs.

Judges expressed their regret for not turning their chairs.

“I would have pushed that button but I’m done forming my team”, said Kelly Rowland, one of the judges who think that Lara has some potential. Other judges also agreed and gave Lara some good advises.

Kelly Rowland also tweeted about Lara’s performance and wishes to see her next year.

For other girls her age, this disappointment might already be enough to make them quit but not Lara. For one year, she trained herself hard, kept her spirit strong and made sure that she will surprise everyone with her return and indeed, she has made her way for her second audition.

“I soaked up all the advice the coaches gave me. I kind of sang in the mirror a lot, structured how I would stand, how I would perform and I’m here to prove that I can turn a chair this year.”

It was a year full of hope for this young lady as she really wanted to go back and audition once again and to prove that she does have what it takes to make chairs turn. Truly, Kelly Rowland had the biggest motivational impact on Lara and her dreams.

A moment of silence before she started her song, you can definitely see that Lara is determined and hopeful, and then she sings. This teen shocked everyone as she delivers stellar vocals for the song she chose!

“But there’s a hope that’s waiting for you in the dark
You should know you’re beautiful just the way you are”

The song that Lara chose was none other than Alessia Cara’s Stars to your Beautiful. This song couldn’t be more perfect for this girl’s passion. Everyone was enjoying her performance as well as hoping that Kelly would already hit that buzzer!

As the crowd enjoys her song, finally, one chair turns! It was Guy Sebastian who turned his chair just before Lara finishes her song. It was a breathtaking scene yet disappointing as well because for the second time, Kelly Rowland didn’t press that red button!

After the song, Kelly saw her and her reaction was priceless!

“I don’t know what else to say, I’m really upset with myself because I said the same thing last year and I can’t believe I let it happen again. I’m really really gutted and I hope that somewhere along the way, I’d get you. In some sort of battle, in some sort of knockout, in some sort of something – I’m not going to mess up again.”

Everyone in the audience felt the sincerity and the disappointment in Kelly’s voice but even though things didn’t turn out as expected, it was still all good in the end as Lara is a step closer to her dream.
