‘Clanadoni’ is a band out of Glasgow, Scottland, who hit the scene in 2007 and eventually became viral sensations
In this video, the group went downtown to give people a live street concert. Raw and authentic, you can see the passionate energy they produce.
It starts with the bagpipes sounding off before the drums follow and they’re both playing magical sounds. Dressed in traditional Scottish kilts, some of the members are even shirtless and you can see carrying the drum is a good work out by their physique.
All seven musicians are masters of their instruments
When the video starts it appears to only be four people playing the music, that’s when the video pans over and you see 3 more musicians. No wonder they’re able to get such a strong sound!
The eldest drummer in the front leads the band, a minute into the performance he does something extremely unique.
When the drummer in front turns around, he dances and points to the other performers who turn it up a notch
As soon as the old man in front directs his energy to the other shirtless drummer, he starts to play with more enthusiasm. Suddenly, the little drummer on the right starts playing a flurry of sounds. He hits the drum so fast, you can barely see his hands moving.
Now, the lead drummer focuses on the bagpipe player all while continuing to beat on his drum. ‘Clanadonia’ never misses a beat, the whole thing is mindblowing.
At the end of the video, the drummers of ‘Clanadonia’ began moving forward toward the camera in epic fashion
As the drummer’s march forward, the bag pipe’s back them up to for one final spectacle. All the way until the end, they put every ounce of heart they have into the music they’re playing.
To end the video, the drummer with the shaved head comes close to the camera and flashes a smile, before playing the last beat. No wonder viewers on YouTube go crazy for the Scottish band!
