Staffordshire Bull Terriers, are cross-breeds of Bulldogs and English White Terriers that originated in Birmingham. The loyal and affectionate dogs are also known for looking like quite the bruisers, which can make it hard to get them adopted sometimes. Not this Staffy, she instantly got adopted after flashing a massive smile that a shelter worker posted on Twitter.
When Sybil showed up to All Dogs Matter Rescue in London, she stole the hearts of people on the internet with her joyous grin and found a forever home
Some dogs just steal your heart with one look, especially when they have a smile that would light up any room. This stray Staffy, Sybil(whose previous name was Lily), finds a forever home after a staff member from All Dogs Matter can’t resist posting a picture of her gleaming smile to Twitter.
Sybil was brought into ADM in North London last week after being captured by the dog warden. Upon being brought to the rescue shelter, the staff wasn’t sure if the Staffordshire Bull Terrier would be plagued by the stereotypes of the breed.
Shortly after her ear-to-ear smile was posted to Twitter, hundreds of people sent messages of adoration for the Staffy with a twinkle in her eye
One of those admirers was 18-year-old, Frankie Murphy, who knew a smile like that had to come from an amazing dog. With all the Twitter love she was getting, Frankie was worried he may have been too late and quickly called the shelter to see if she was still available.
“We saw her lovely little smile and couldn’t resist. Even though we knew she had a lot of interest from the Twitter post, we got in contact with the charity in hopes that she was still available. When we went to visit her, we fell in love with her straight away.” Frankie told Metro UK.

Frankie’s family took Sybil home exactly one year after their previous dog had passed away
After realizing Sybil was the perfect dog for them, the Murphy family took her home and her gorgeous smile just keeps getting brighter. The family has even created an Instagram page for the grinning pooch so her fans can be updated on how she’s doing.

“She’s so good, she follows my Dad around like a little shadow, and she doesn’t bark at all. My neighbors didn’t even know we had a new dog because she’s been so quiet. She is so intelligent too, she has managed to open our back door. She’s not tall enough to reach the handle but she can push it with her nose and open it.” Said Frankie.
