At first glance, you’d think that this photo was enhanced and was perfected by a pro in photoshop but nope – this beautiful cat is for real and his fur is all-natural!

Thor looks like a leopard and tiger combined but he is a Bengal cat.

Bengal cats were created by cross-breeding an Asian Leopard card with a domestic cat. According to Purina, the goal for doing this is to preserve the beauty of their wild ancestors while allowing them to be domesticated.

They are very energetic by nature so you need to be ready for that. They are of course, twice as curious as to the regular domesticated cats but they are also very affectionate.

Some say that getting a Bengal cat isn’t easy that’s why it’s very common for shelters to get lots of calls about pet owners wanting to give up their Bengal cats because of their wild nature.

This is such sad news to be giving up your pet because they are too much to handle but it happens. Proper knowledge and being prepared for these types of breeds are needed to avoid this scenario.
