Cats love hiding in strange places. They’re hunters by nature, which means they like to be hidden as they observe what’s happening around them. They also sleep up to 16 hours a day, and they like being in hiding spots during their nap-times.
But sometimes, cats simply find a great hiding spot by accident. This video has some examples of their hidden spots.

This beautiful tortoiseshell cat blends in perfectly with the pattern on the carpeted stairs. Maybe its owner is a big fan of autumn, as well as themed cats and carpeting.

This little cat is enjoying a nap, but it could accidentally get disturbed if someone sits on it! You might be comfortable, little kitty, but you’re in a dangerous position.

Cats are known for their flexibility and their love of tight spaces, so it’s no surprise that this little kitty thought the bathroom sink was a good place to snooze. But the nap might come to an abrupt end if someone needs to wash their hands.

10. “I’m going on an adventure!”
This cat almost got into a seriously messy situation when he decided to take a snooze in this garbage can. Due to his dark color, his owner almost bagged him up along with the trash.

This cat matches the floor so closely that you almost don’t notice him at all. Now he can hide in plain sight and jump out at his owners to his heart’s content!
