This group of six burly men brings sexy back in their short shorts with their hilarious and impressive routine.
Six stocky men took their positions on stage wearing only yellow micro shorts and baby tees so snug they looked like leotards. With their well-built physique and intimidating frame, you’d assume they’ll do something fierce.
The audience howled and cheered like they’ve seen this group perform before and enjoyed their routine far too much for so many times. These local celebrities are well known for their skimpy outfits, sassy dance moves, and confidence.
Digging around the internet yielded scarce results about this dance group but on all of their videos, they’re called the Rose Park Drill Team.
According to the comments section on some of the videos showing their performance, people claim that they’re of Samoan descent. So it’s very much like watching six Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s wearing clothes that are five times smaller than their size while dancing to Vistoso Bosses’s 2009 song “Delirious”.
While some people might be embarrassed to participate in a performance filled with bubbly and sexy dance moves, these guys are flaunting their talent in full confidence and skill.
No one would’ve expected hair flips, booty-shaking, and snappy wrists from men like them and that’s exactly what they want their audience to feel. They built their charm around the unexpectedness of their performances and the clothes that don’t seem to match their physique.
This is not their first time performing as a group.
The Rose Park Drill Team has participated in different community events, bringing laughter and smiles to their friends, families, and neighbors.
They shared a stage with the comic duo Laughing Samoans where they wore tight shirts and short pleated skirts while they danced to a remix version of Ke$ha’s Tik Tok.
The whole crowd goes wild as they move from high-energy pumps to sexy body waves.
They also participated in an event in their city where they performed to the tune of Grammy awarded winner Justin Beiber’s hit song “Baby”. They even have one of them dress up as Justin because when you’re with six other men dressed as girls, someone has to.
In their “Delirious” routine that was viewed over a hundred thousand times, the Rose Park Drill Team didn’t give their fans a room to rest.
It was laughter after laughter as the big guys shake their arms and chest to the music.
But the peak emotional parts came on the bridge as the song mellowed down. Their bouncy performance slowed down to emotional yet inviting glances to the audience. And before the people could recover, the group turned their backs to the crowd, bent over, then shook their behinds.
Their dance moves are as impressive as they’re hilarious. These men are not embarrassed to flaunt these moves in front of people and it sends a message that once you’re confident and secure with yourself, you can dance in however way you want. Yes, even when you’re wearing short shorts while you’re at it.
