Six stocky men took their positions on stage wearing only yellow micro shorts and baby tees so snug they looked like leotards. With their well-built physique and intimidating frame, youโd assume theyโll do something fierce.
The audience howled and cheered like theyโve seen this group perform before and enjoyed their routine far too much for so many times. These local celebrities are well known for their skimpy outfits, sassy dance moves, and confidence.
Digging around the internet yielded scarce results about this dance group but on all of their videos, theyโre called the Rose Park Drill Team.
According to the comments section on some of the videos showing their performance, people claim that theyโre of Samoan descent. So itโs very much like watching six Dwayne โThe Rockโ Johnsonโs wearing clothes that are five times smaller than their size while dancing to Vistoso Bossesโs 2009 song โDeliriousโ.
While some people might be embarrassed to participate in a performance filled with bubbly and sexy dance moves, these guys are flaunting their talent in full confidence and skill.
No one wouldโve expected hair flips, booty-shaking, and snappy wrists from men like them and thatโs exactly what they want their audience to feel. They built their charm around the unexpectedness of their performances and the clothes that donโt seem to match their physique.
This is not their first time performing as a group.
The Rose Park Drill Team has participated in different community events, bringing laughter and smiles to their friends, families, and neighbors.
They shared a stage with the comic duo Laughing Samoans where they wore tight shirts and short pleated skirts while they danced to a remix version of Ke$haโs Tik Tok.
The whole crowd goes wild as they move from high-energy pumps to sexy body waves.
They also participated in an event in their city where they performed to the tune of Grammy awarded winner Justin Beiberโs hit song โBabyโ. They even have one of them dress up as Justin because when youโre with six other men dressed as girls, someone has to.
In their โDeliriousโ routine that was viewed over a hundred thousand times, the Rose Park Drill Team didnโt give their fans a room to rest.
It was laughter after laughter as the big guys shake their arms and chest to the music.
