There’s just something about this video that makes you want to watch every second of it until the very end.

In the video captured by professional photograph Tim Whittaker from New Zealand, a massive sheep herding is shown. The video was shot in the air, and although Tim is actually a qualified pilot, it was one of his special aerial photography drones that were able to film this impressive piece of nature.

The footage is truly impressive – hundreds of sheep are seen being pointed in the right direction thanks to a herder and a couple of trained dogs.

Being shot from such a high altitude, it makes the sheep look like ants and it gives you an entirely new perspective. And aside from the impressive camerawork, you’ve probably never seen so many sheep being herded at once. The video also highlights some of the nice, open, and green grasslands that New Zealand has to offer.

Photographs, animated pictures and of course the video itself has received a ton of international attention on the internet and was hugely shared because of the mesmerizing effect these sheep have.

The sheep were being relocated from one paddock to another paddock on the Napier-Taihape Road farm. The photographer Tim was uniquely qualified to capture footage, as he is the only video drone operator in his local area of Hawke’s Bay. He carries a certificate from the Civil Aviation Authority and took the video whilst doing an assignment for Beef & Lamb NZ, a marketing agency.

“The original brief was to get stills but I just thought [the sheep make] crazy patterns from the sky, so I may as well just run some video while we’re doing it,” Tim said according to a report from SMH.

Hundreds of viewers also commented on Tim Whittaker’s video, some even in a philosophical or rather humorous way.

“So peaceful. It’s like a waterfall,” one person said.

“It really helps you appreciate the difference between solid and fluid… each of those sheep are a 200 pound solid. Yet so many together, from so far away, all together, they move like a fluid.”

“Pretty incredible what these dogs can do, the team work and ability to keep all the sheep together is really amazing,” another commented.

One thing is for sure: this video is truly something you have to see yourself to believe. Incredible footage!
