Salif Gueye has been dancing in the streets of Paris for quite a while and has developed a bit of a following, including Ellen DeGeneres herself.
His videos have millions of views in total. Itโs not just people in Paris who have been impressed by Salifโs dancing style.
His moves are like Michael Jackson on ice. Salif literally glides across the pavement. Thereโs a reason that video of him dancing has made it viral and caught the attention of people like Ellen.
In fact, Ellen was so wowed that she had to bring him to the United States to be on her show.

Getting to Know Salif
Ellen sat the viral dancer down and asked him a few questions.
She wanted to know how much he made on his best day of dancing on the sidewalks of Paris, France. His answer was that he made about fourteen hundred, enough money to purchase an iPhone, which was convenient because he had just lost his phone. Thatโs a pretty impressive amount for one day as a street performer!
Next, she wanted to know if he received anything other than cash. The answer was yes. He had received a bunch of unusual tips for his street dancing โ including candy, phone numbers, and condoms. We guess heโs quite the ladiesโ man. Ellen couldnโt resist having a little fun joking about that one.

However, Salif thinks that the best thing he has gotten so far has been the trip to be on The Ellen Show. It has been a dream come true for him.
As for if he has ever had any professional dance training, Salif said no. Once you see him dance, youโll have a hard time believing it. This is one talented dancer.

A Super Smooth Michael Jackson
Salif got on The Ellen Show stage to show off some of his moves.
The lights dimmed, then the sage lit up.
Michael Jacksonโs Black or White was playing as Salif moon-walked in a super-slick glide across the stage.
Not only did he make it seem like the stage was made of glass as he moved across it effortlessly, but he also seemed to defy gravity at some points. He has some genuine skills to show off to the audience.

Ellen was impressed.
Even the King of Pop himself would be impressed.
Ellen left him with the parting gift of a shirt that said he had danced on The Ellen Show. On the back, it said that tips (in the form of cash) were accepted. She joked that it was so he would stop receiving other odd things, like the condoms and phone numbers, instead of money.

A global sensation
Ellen also wished him the best of luck and said that she would continue to follow his dancing across Paris. We donโt think that she will be the only one. Salif already has quite the worldwide following, especially in Europe and now in America as well.
If you want to see more of Salif, you can follow him on his Instagram account, salif_crookboyz, and join his 1.7 million followers. The dancer can also be found on Facebook.

Or, if youโre up for some travel, after heโs done in Los Angeles, you may be be able to find him dancing in the streets of Paris again.
