It is not always easy to put children on the spot. Often times, they can come off as shy or hesitant. It’s natural that they get nervous and maybe curl up into a little shell when the time comes to be social!
Rodeos and clowns are also a whole big deal for many children (and, ahem, adults). Sure, clows are supposed to be fun, but they actually scare a lot of people. Maybe it’s because of the Joker in Batman or all of the horror films about clowns. Or maybe there’s just something strange and suspicious about always having a smile painted on your face.
So, given all of these things, you would think it would be pretty hard to get a kid to enjoy a visit to the rodeo. However, that was not the case for 9-year-old Elizabeth!
A video of a rodeo clown doing a bit was recently uploaded to YouTube and what goes down in the video is super adorable.
The clown is entertaining the crowd when he decides to pull up someone from the audience to help him with his next bit. He gravitates towards one group of people and eventually chooses their 9-year-old girl named Elizabeth.
This little girl was most definitely not afraid of clowns one bit. When she was chosen she was very excited, hopped down onto the ground from her seat and effortlessly climbed the big wall that was separating her and the clown… Okay, like where did she get those impressive climbing skills?
Once she lands on the field with the clown, he explains what they are going to do for everyone watching in the bleachers. It’s clear he doesn’t think she is going to be that talented.
“Alright, Elizabeth… We’re going to see which one of us can get the crowd excited. Can you handle that?” he asks the young girl.
Then he explains that they are going to play a little bit of music and that the girl can do whatever she wants to do. He was expecting just regular, shy 9-year-old dance moves but that is certainly not what he gets.
Instead, Elizabeth whips out the best, most impressive dance moves as Silento’s famous song “Watch Me” begins to play. She “whips” and “nae nae’s” all over the place and the crowd is so shocked and impressed, they all start to scream and cheer her on loudly!
The poor clown then has to follow that with his own dance moves… Yeah right, as if he could top what Elizabeth just brought to the table!
He whips and nae nae’s to the same song and, while he earns a few chuckles, the audience is not nearly as blown away as they were when Elizabeth was doing her thing. Just further proves that this girl is a downright star!
Then it’s Elizabeth’s turn again, so what does she do? Oh, just whips out a full-on split! No big deal at all!
We bet her family is so proud… The rodeo clown sure had no idea what was coming.
