The Piano Guys met some years ago in a small piano store in Utah. They now have millions of followers around the world and continue to produce incredible videos featuring instrumental covers of popular songs.

After composing a beautiful rendition of Lewis Capaldi’s smash hit, Someone You Loved, The Piano Guys wanted to find a way to bring the song to life visually.

“We needed a poetic love story spoken without words, but with melodic motion.” – The Piano Guys

They called on Charity and Andres, the duo most famous for their iconic moment as the first contestants to receive a perfect score on World of Dance.

Some of the best dancers in the world and judges on the show, Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo, and Derek Hough, went wild after their performance.

The video starts by slowly sweeping through a room, past the talented pianist and cellist, to focus on Charity and Andres who are sitting casually on the floor.

The music is soft and The Piano Guys have somehow managed to turn Someone You Loved into an even more emotionally heart-wrenching tune than the original!

The couple start dancing to the live music in the room with an impressive floor routine, swaying back and forth, and lifting each other up into some beautiful acrobatic poses.

Their flow and chemistry is so natural, it’s almost as if they’re attached to one another.

The instrumentals carry the pair across the room, gliding, leaping, and spinning in sync.

Their bodies do things most of us could only dream of, and their movements are absolutely mesmerizing.

Charity and Andres have an amazing chemistry, and must have practiced this routine a hundred times before perfecting it the way they have.

Some of the moves are death defying and must require an incredible amount of skill. Not to mention trust!

The stunning routine takes an emotional turn, with Andres ultimately pulling away, but encouraging Charity to keep her head up.

They dance together for a few more bars before he leaves.

The camera slowly pans out, moving backwards and leaving Charity alone in the frame with her hand outstretched, reaching after Andres.

For the last time, we see the pianist and cello player as they slowly come to the end of their song, as Charity stands alone until the last note is played.

The video has been viewed almost 7 million times!

Charity and Andres were the perfect pair for this emotional expression of the song, because they are going through some separation in their personal lives.

Andres is moving abroad for an extended period of time which has been hard on the pair!

“This is the story they told in dance to our music—a story of sadness, of support, of joy, of unity, of strength, of longing, and of unconditional love. The mastery in their choreography is unmatched and has the power to stir up tender feelings for someone you loved.” – The Piano Guys

The YouTube comment section had an outpouring of love and support for the musicians and dancers, and made many viewers emotional!
