The first tip offered for kitten care is a microwaveable heating pad, like the brand Snugglesafe. It will stay warm for several hours. You can easily transport kittens if needed, so you’re not relying on heating pads with cords.
Young kittens cannot regulate their own body temperature, which is why it is important to keep heating pads available at all times for them.
Next up is the Snuggle Kitty, which is a stuffed animal with a battery-operated heart inside. It is best for kittens that are without their mother. It simply takes triple A batteries!
It should go without saying, but blankets are essential for kittens! But while pet stores sell blankets, the best type of blanket for a kitten is actually a microfleece baby blanket. Swaddling kittens in these blankets is a simple way to comfort a kitten.
