Kratu and his loving trainer, Tessa, have come to the annual Crufts competition in the United Kingdom.

Theyโ€™re ready to compete in the Rescue Dog Agility run. Heโ€™s 4 years old and was re-homed at 18 months old, and now lives with Tessa who has been training him for this moment.

Itโ€™s important to know that Kratuโ€™s full name is Baron Kratu Von Bearbum. That could not be better and I may or may not steal it when I finally get a fur baby.

Before theyโ€™re even given the go ahead to start the course, Kratu looks a little distracted. He canโ€™t believe heโ€™s finally here โ€“ at the big show! Surrounded by thousands of people, all there to see him.

The run begins and he kicks off, soaring over the first jump with ease.

And thenโ€ฆ skipping the second one entirely to trot around the floor with no particular purpose. Just sniffing the floor to see whoโ€™s been there before.

Tessa stands on the other side of the jump, doing her absolute best to get Kratu back in focus.

The crowd erupts into laugher along with Peter Purves, the commentator, who loves what heโ€™s seeing and Kratuโ€™s free-spirit.

When heโ€™s ready, Kratu circles back to complete the next jump, looking lovingly at Tessa like โ€œisnโ€™t this so much fun?!โ€.

But whatโ€™s more fun than taking a little break to say hello to some humans?!

Kratu thinks itโ€™s the perfect moment to go up to some women on the side line, wagging his tail and sniffing about to see if he can get any cuddles out of the deal.

He runs back to Tessa on the course, completing a few more jumps and barking at the crowd.

โ€œAre you not entertained?!โ€ โ€“ Kratu, probably.

I know I certainly am!

Coming up to the weave (a series of vertical poles for the dogs to move in and out of), Tessa leads her prized pup towards them.

โ€œNow, can we get him into the weave? No, I shouldnโ€™t think so, not for a second.โ€ โ€“ Peter Purves

And of course he was correct.

Kratu decidesโ€ฆ nah, not today. Not feelinโ€™ it.

For the next section, potentially the highlight of the course, Kratu gets ready to speed through the tunnel.

He goes confidently in while Tessa jogs over to wait for him on the other sideโ€ฆ but Kratu manages to turn himself around and come running straight back out the way he came.

Itโ€™s more impressive that he managed to turn around in the tunnel than to just keep going. I donโ€™t know how he did it โ€“ thereโ€™s not a lot of room in there for him!

Again, the crowd goes wild.

Peter Purves stays positive and supportive of the wild competitor the whole way through. Pointing out the strong points in Kratuโ€™s run, while also acknowledging how hilarious it is.

โ€œHe jumps his jumps at full heightโ€ฆ if you can keep him on the course. He couldnโ€™t care less could he?โ€ โ€“ Peter Purves

As they come to the end of the course the crowd is shouting and clapping, sending all their love down to Kratu. He looks up at Tessa, with a look that says, โ€œhowโ€™d we do? Arenโ€™t you proud of me?โ€ and I am melting.

โ€œ[Kratu] is an emotional support dog. The reason Tessa gets up in the morning.โ€ โ€“ Peter Purves

Kratu and Tessa are just there to have fun! Kratu really seems to enjoy running the agility course, but perhaps just doesnโ€™t understand the concept fully.
