Thereโs nothing more adorable than animal friendships. When a household has animals of more than one species that all get alongโฆ itโs magic. Lots of homes have both dogs and cats or dogs and birds or something like that.
But for Penny Deane, her fellow furry friend of a different species is a raccoon named Tito.
Ever since Titoโs dad rescued him on May 9, Tito and Penny, a chocolate Labrador retriever, have been best friends. Titoโs dad works in pest control and found Tito as a baby living in someoneโs attic along with his siblings.
The little raccoons were only four weeks old and could barely walk.
They were going to be released into the wild but his dad felt they were too young to survive on their own without their mother so he took one of the raccoons in.
Now, Tito and Penny are inseparable and love to hang out together. Tito and Pennyโs adventures are all documented on Titoโs Instagram and YouTube pages.
His Instagram page often shows Tito and Penny displaying affection for one another.
Well, sort of. Penny tolerates Tito petting him with his little raccoon fingers that kind of look like human fingers but way cuter.
They also like to play out scenes from their favorite movies like Titanic. Weโll, at least Tito does.
As you can see in his videos, heโs a bit dramatic. His dad says that heโs full of energy and never sits still unless food is involved.
Tito and Pennyโs absolute favorite thing to do together is swim. They recently spent an entire day at the pool together. The video of their day at the pool got more than 48,091 views on YouTube.
The two splash along side each other and look like theyโre having the time of their life. Penny even lets Tito take a ride on her back. Itโs the cutest thing ever.
