There are so many online challenges going around it’s hard to even pick one just for a daily dose of laughter.

Luckily, there are the more popular ones that trend everywhere. They involve dancing and it is so much fun to watch.

It’s a man named Blanco Brown who is responsible for said challenge. He created a dancing tutorial for his song “The Git Up”, which has about 56.2 million views already.

People love it so much that they dance to it, post videos on the internet, then proceed to challenge a friend or a certain group of individuals.

Blanco’s tutorial video itself has almost 10 million views from all over the planet. The challenge took over the internet many months ago and people accepted it with loving arms. From teens, to clinic and hospitals, to police departments and firefighters and their respective departments, it’s been causing quite the online storm.

Well here’s one for you. The Sutter County Sheriff’s Office decided to team up with the Yuba City Police Department, Sutter County Courts, and Sutter County Code Enforcement for the “Git Up” challenge.

So it starts with two cars fighting over a parking spot. A Yuba City police car and one from Sutter County Sheriff’s are arguing over the spot. The staff from all the departments begin to gather around the cops to see what is going on and if they can help in any way.

Solution? Dance off!

We often wonder how cops and other uniformed men and women spend their lunch and coffee breaks… It is highly possible that they just practice dancing. They are good!

When making these videos, these departments have to come up with a story or a plot then think of the background and props they’ll use. It’s cool to think that these brave men and women have creative juices flowing through them and that they are more than the badge and the uniform.

When the officers and the staff start dancing, you can see how all the practice paid off. Even a police dog joins in!

The dance is pretty simple and the lyrics actually tell you what to do. It may be more fun as a group but you can do this alone too. It goes like so,

“Gon’ and do the 2 step then cowboy boogie
Grab your sweetheart and spin out with ’em
Do the hoedown and get into it
Take it to the left now and dip with it
Gon’ throw down, take a sip with it
Now lean back put your hips in it “

That German Shepherd is so cute. He may not know the steps and he looks confused as he watches his colleagues get down with the “Git Up” but he’s alright. He looks like he would really join in if he could.

He may be trained for duty and service but he’s still got that puppy deep inside just begging to play.

The video has over 4 million views and even the people in the comments section agree.

“I thought that too when I saw the dog trying to keep up. He was like.. ‘Wth! This is so humiliating.” Lol. Too cute.”

It’s so much fun to see. It helps us see them beyond the uniform in that they are human and like us, they just want to have some fun too.
