Alexandria Bishop and her sister, Jessica Toutant are polar opposites.

When Bishop tweeted out a photo of the two of them, the internet had a field day. The replies were just as creative as Toutant’s living spaces.

Bishop cites their 8 year age gap as the reason for their vastly different tastes.

“Jessica and I have a pretty big age gap, so we naturally have been interested in different things.”.

Almost everybody with a sibling can relate to that sentiment, regardless of the age gap. People are just different from one another regardless if they’re related or not.

But of course, it’s always more amusing when the differences are between relatives, particularly siblings!

Alexandria also shared photos of their living spaces. Like Jessica’s hair, the decor around her house is just as loud and eye-catching.

Her fence is painted the color of a rainbow and if that wasn’t enough, it sports a colorful unicorn floating in the inflatable. Ah, the memories.

It’s a friendly and welcoming environment.

Alexandria’s outdoor decor, on the other hand, is a bit less er, friendly.

What’s even more ironic is that Alexandria is the younger of the two but clearly has more of the, “I’m too old for this, leave me alone,” sentiments that seem to come as we get older.

Not for Jessica however. She proves to still be a kid at heart.

In addition to her “Go Away” welcome mat, there’s a coffin with a cross right next to it. It’s as if she’s asking whoever dares to approach her door to proceed with extreme caution.

Some people may be turned off by this but I find it hilarious. She clearly has a sense of humor. It’s just shown a little differently than what some people are used to seeing.

Even their actual living spaces are complete opposites.

Like everything else about Jessica, her living room is bright. She has a large window as well as colorful decor. The walls are painted lime green. It’s like a daycare’s playroom.

Alexandria’s living room looks more like that of a married mom with two teenage kids. It’s very neat and calculated but with a hint of fun (i.e. Star Wars memorabilia!).

I have to admit, I was expecting a bit more darkness from Alexandria here. But the doormat and coffin outside make up for it. I won’t deduct any dark points here.

Giving the people what they want, Alexandria posts a few more pictures showing how opposite she and her sister truly are.

One photo of the two posing in what first looks like Halloween attire could very well be their every day fits. Alexandria sports all black while Jessica wears an outfit resembling something from the strawberry shortcake cartoon…

Though they are opposite, the love between them is apparent in the photos. The one with the two of them at Disney World is sure to be a favorite. Wearing Mickey Mouse ears, Jessica smiles. She’s not afraid to show that she’s having a good time. Alexandria however, partially hides behind her sister gives a, “get me out of here” look.

But really, I’m sure there’s nowhere else she’d rather be.

Alexandria’s posts not only put a smile on the faces of many but also inspired others to share photos of their siblings as well.
