When this groom found out his best friend and best man wouldn’t make it to his wedding because of a military deployment he refused to replace him. Little did he know, his best friend would be surprising him in the most touching wedding crashing experience ever.

This best man wasn’t going to make his best friends wedding until his deployment got pushed back and he surprised the bride and groom on their big day
When Steven and Lauren Marec decided to get married, they knew exactly who would end up being Stevens’s best man. The only problem, he got scheduled for deployment and was scheduled to miss the wedding. That’s when a twist of fate changed his deployment date and he was able to come in a heartwarming surprise all caught on video.
In the video, you can see Steven and Lauren walking down a cement path surrounded by cameramen. Just off to the side, Anthony White is hiding behind some trees in full uniform waiting to surprise the couple.

Anothony’s military deployment had got pushed back, but he kept it a secret in order to surprise his best friend on one of the most important days of his life. Steven refused to replace his best friend at the wedding, but it turns out he didn’t have to.
Steven immediately breaks out into tears, sobbing at the sight of his best friend and best man. Once Anthony is done hugging Lauren, he goes over to his best friend and the two embrace with tears flowing.
“Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Meric,” Anthony says as he emerges from the trees.

Everyone is completely overtaken by emotions, all they can do is hug in happiness. Including the rest of the grooms’ men, they all share a group hug and are thrilled that Anothony was there. The entire exchange was caught on camera, and now, the wedding party was complete.
Moments like these bring tears to your eyes, they make you appreciate those best friends in your life just a little bit more. This is probably why the video went viral, and the story shared on major news broadcasts like ABC’s World News with David Muir.
