Bringing a baby into the world can be extremely stressful, especially when life throws other obstacles your way that is out of your control. This father found himself in a panic when his furnace went out just days before he was scheduled to bring his newborn baby home. He frantically called a furnace company, but when he got the bill he was shocked to see how much it was. On the receipt was a letter inscribed to his newborn, and a gesture that will stick with the family for a lifetime.

This couple had quite the scare when their furnace went out, mainly because it was winter and their newborn baby was about to come home. Luckily, one local business came to the rescue

Jesse and Maria Hulscher, found themselves in a worrisome situation, all with their newborn baby days away from coming home. It was the middle of winter, with a blizzard on the way when their furnace suddenly went out.

Left without a choice. the couple started looking for local repair shops. That’s when Jesse made a frantic phone to Magnuson Sheet Metal and explained the situation. He was able to calm down a little when the man on the phone said he’d sent someone out.

A repairman came out and fixed the furnace, but the real surprise came when the bill came. There was a note subscribed to the couple, with “no charge” on the bill
The Hulscher’s couldn’t believe their eye’s, the note read:

“NO CHARGE. Take care of the baby.”
That’s right, Magnuson Sheet Metal took care of the bill, leaving the family shocked.

“I was like what? No? This can’t be real. He was like ‘I know, I can’t believe it either.'” Maria told Fox 9 News.
Co-owner, Craig Aurand, told Fox 9 News that they have a special policy during the holidays
Turns out Magnuson Sheet Metal is known for helping families in need during the holidays, and all that they ask is that they pay it forward. Aurand tells Fox 9 that it’s not about the free promotion.

“We didn’t do it for the PR, we did it to be good people that’s it. Just to be nice to these people that’s all.”
Jesse posted the kind deed on Facebook and people on the internet were inspired by the gesture
After the gift from Magnuson, Jesse took to Facebook to thank them.
