There are so many things to be grateful for. But the speed of life can make us forget about all of the small beauties around us. Sometimes you have to slow down and enjoy the simple blessings, and hey maybe even do a happy dance!
A Georgia woman named Kallayah Jones has reminded us all to appreciate lifeโs blessings a whole lot more.

After losing several jobs due to COVID-19, Kallayah had finally landed an interview at a local sports bar and grill called The Spot.
Even though sheโd been through so many let downs, she wasnโt going to let that rain on her parade.

Kallayah was thrilled to just have an interview, and went in with her same glowing prescence. The hiring manager DaKara Spence was immediately intrigued by Kallayahโs positive energy and knew there was something special about her. Dakara even told CBS,
โShe had a great energy I felt it as soon as she walked in she seemed really positive,โ
Little did DaKara know, Kallayah had been through so much more than just a few failed job situations.

She had been homeless for the past2 years. But there was no way was she going to wear that on her sleeve. Kallayah went into everything with the same cheerful attitude, taking it all day by day.
The hiring manager was so impressed by Kallayahโs contagious spirit, she knew sheโd make an excellent employee.

Kallayah was ready for a brand new start and DaKara could tell that about her. Without a doubt, the interview was a success and DaKara let Kallayah know she should be hearing from her in couple of days.
She never would have guessed how walking out of those doors would change her life foreverโฆ

Kallayah was confident about the interview and walked out of those doors elated. But Kallayah didnโt just walk on out to the carโฆ she paused, looked around to see if anyone was watching and did an excited dance right in the parking lot!
However, she had no idea that the security cameras caught her in the act!

DaKara had watched her walk out on the surveilance video and couldnโt help but smile.
DaKarra told CBS,
โโI called her phone and I said โIโm going to hire youโ and โI seen your happy dance so you can continue dancingโ,โ
โShe was just screaming through the phone and it was just a beautiful moment for me.โ
DaKara posted the adorable dancing video onto her Instagram and wrote,
โSo I just hired this young girl and this was her responseโ
As soon as they knew it Kallayahโs happy dance was a viral sensation! It now has over 1 million views on Instagram.

Theyโve even been interviewed on the TODAY show and The Ellen Degenerous Show because of their heartwarming story.
In times of so much heartache, stories like these remind us there are still wonderful things happening. A helping hand really does goes a long way and a happy dance is always necessary!
