How many of us dream of sharing the stage and singing with our favorite artists? To be able to meet them and take a picture is more than enough for most die hard fans. It’s always cool to see videos of artists sharing the stage or having a moment with fans backstage. Even more so when these artists allow the fans to showcase their talents.

Andrew Zarrillo is one lucky guy. He and his girl were in attendance at a Michael Buble concert and like all the fans were having a good time and just singing along.

Well for some reason, Michael sits by Andrew and hands him the microphone. Now I don’t know about you but if a well known singer hands me the mic during his concert, I would be a nervous wreck. Not Andrew.

Michael even asks, “You want me to help you?” to which most fans would have said “Yes!” Who wouldn’t want to have a duet with a star?

Andrew wasn’t having that. He answers Buble with, “I got it.” much to Michael’s surprise. The singer responds with, “Alright.”

The song is “Fly me to the moon”. A song written by Bart Howard and made popular by some guy named Frank Sinatra. Of course we all know Frank!

Andrew, with all the confidence in the world, croons and the words flow like melted butter.

“Fly me to the moon
And let me play among the stars
Let me know what Spring is like
On Jupiter and Mars
In other words, hold my hand”

Michael’s audience, his crowd who bought tickets to see him, explode in cheers upon hearing Andrew’s voice. Incredible!

Andrew adds a little flavor to the song by turning to his lady during the part of, “In other words, baby, kiss me“. That’s the sweetest moment in that concert, believe it.

Andrew Zarrillo shares on his YouTube channel,

“Everyone thought it was scripted but it’s a totally impromptu moment!”

It seems to be a Michael Buble thing during his concerts where he allows fans to sing with him or for him. Great way to interact and rest that voice. Smart man.

Andrew keeps on singing and you can see Michael just sitting on the stage, snapping his fingers and bopping his head to the melody and Andrew’s voice. Good lad!

Michael gets up and encourages Andrew to hit a high note for, “In other words, please be true“, to which the band plays along with a drum roll and cymbals to accompany Zarrillo. The fans go crazy and it is so cool to see an artist support his fan this way.

Michael marches and claps along until the song ends. He gives Andrew a firm handshake along with the crowd’s applause. Good show, gents!
