I think he got what was coming to him... what do you think?

You’d think in order to pull off a crime, you’d have to be somewhat smart. But for most criminals, that’s just not the case. Maybe that’s why most of them end up getting caught.

But some of them are stupider than others.

And this one takes the cake. A 19-year-old man thought it would be a good idea to stick-up a hot dog stand in South Side Chicago at gunpoint.

The only problem was, he wasn’t too handy with a gun.

He ended up shot himself in the wiener while trying to rob a wiener stand. A wiener stand that was in his own neighborhood. YOU CANNOT make this up!

According to CBS Chicago, Pouncy Terrion held up two employees at gunpoint just after 6 a.m. on Halloween. He pressed a gun to the head of the 39-year-old employee, according to the Chicago Sun Times, and took their cell phones, wallets, and cash.

The victim was passing a grease filled bucked over the counter at the time and asked his co-worker to hand over the cash from the register.

They then handed over their wallets and a stack of singles when the employee accidentally spilled the bucket of grease sending the money went flying.

Terrion moved in to grab up the cash. He then was leaving the business when he shifted the gun in his waistband. That’s when he accidentally pulled the trigger and shot himself in the penis with a .38 caliber pistol.

The restaurant employee then wrestled with Terrion briefly as he tried to run. Terrion got away and struggled to make it across the street but had to stop on a bench before collapsing on the steps of a nearby house because of his injuries.

Terrion then called 911 to report his injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.

According to Huffington Post, police found the wallets that he allegedly stole, along with the gun.

Assistant Cook County State’s Attorney Erin Antonietti said in court that Terrion’s blood-stained boxers had the same pattern that was seen in the surveillance video when he allegedly bent over to collect the money off of the floor.

Terrion was charged with two felony counts of robbery while armed with a firearm and was held without bond.

While we joke about how completely idiotic this botched crime is, it’s actually very sad to see that a teen thinks his only recourse in life is to commit robbery and steal from others in order to get by.
