Everyone was in for a real treat when American figure skater, Ryan Bradley, took the ice.
It was during the Pandora Unforgettable Moments of Love on Ice event in Kent, Washington, and it was Ryanโs turn to wow the crowd. Get ready, because his โspinโ on Footloose is melting hearts.
Ryanโs a U.S. National Champion skater originally from Missouri. His passion for the sport began in childhood at the young age of two. He learned to skate with his sister and parents, who also participated in figure skating.
According to Uncommon Character, Ryanโs earned more than 70 impressive medals during his career in ice skating. This includes events from regional to worldwide. The site describes Ryan as:

Whether or not youโre a fan of โFootlooseโ the song, or Footloose the movie, itโs a routine that will have you tapping your feet.
Ryan begins by posing in the middle of the ice. Heโs wearing a gray sweatshirt and jeans, which may not seem like the typical outfit an ice skater wears. However, itโs meant to mimic the clothing Kevin Baconโs character wore in the famous โwarehouseโ dance scene of the film.
When โFootlooseโ starts blaring through the speakers, Ryan jumps into action. He starts with a twist, some hip shakes, and even a little imaginary guitar action. But soon thereโs no holding him back.
Ryanโs routine is the perfect mix of moves that beam you back to the 80s, combined with ice skating techniques. As he flies around the rink he doesnโt disappoint showing off his skills.
Like the โhunkโ of any film, Ryan cooly dances his solo with all eyes on him. He even pretends to fix his hair before providing the ladies an extra shake of the hips.
While Ryan was already setting the ice on fire, it was about to get even hotter at the NBC Skating Series event.
As it hit the chorus of Kenny Logginsโ โFootloose,โ Ryan really โlet loose.โ His moves are fun and incredible to watch. Not only is his ice skating talent apparent, but he takes on the character like nobodyโs business.
Just like in the movie during Baconโs classic dance scene, Ryan rips off his sweatshirt and reveals heโs wearing just a white tank top underneath. Ahh, much better.
Thereโs one thing about Ryan you should know. He has mastered a move that not many skaters have โ he can actually do a backflip on ice skates!
He explained to Nicole the Nomad:
โI love it because it elicits a great response from the crowd.โ
Fortunately, Ryan decided to give this crowd a glimpse of his signature move too. He gets to the middle of the ice and does a complete backflip. Itโs hard to watch and not have your jaw fall to the ground.
Ryan had everyoneโs eyes glued to him from beginning to end. Understandably, after his โFootlooseโ act the venue erupted into a roar of applause.
This routine may have you wanting to โkick off the Sunday shoesโ and instead lace up some skates with Ryan Bradley. Itโs an entertaining performance you donโt want to miss.
