Whatโs the best cure for a broken heart? Making a music video with your dad of course!
Well, thatโs at least what Austin Weber did.
He and his girlfriend had planned a trip to Japan. Unfortunately, the two of them broke up right before their trip.
Instead of forgoing his trip to Japan, Weber decided to take his dad along with him.
After all, those tickets were pretty expensive.
In order to soothe his heartbreak, Weber decided he had to sing it out. So, he grabbed his dad John Weber, a video camera, some headphones, and a microphone and decided to make a music video.

Weber gets his dad to videotape him and he walks around Japan and sings, rather well, to Abbaโs โMamma Mia.โ
And the results are pretty darn hilarious.
To start, the video quality is horrendous. It looks like a dad who doesnโt know how to work a video camera shot it. Itโs blurry and the shots are just awful.

Besides it looking incredibly crappy, itโs downright bizarre. Weber is shown singing while standing in a body of water.
The camera then zooms to random things in the background then appears back on Weber.
He is then shown in a marketplace where people are starring at him singing out loud. They canโt hear the music since he had headphones on but they can hear him singing. He looks like a nutcase and itโs great.

This video is so bad that itโs good.
I mean really good/bad.
Weber has a really good voice and he does this running shimmy dance move that I will forever hold in my heart.

The videoโs YouTube caption is almost as bizarre as the video itself.
โJust a man and his sneakers โ in loving memory of my beige New Balance 574s vocals recorded live in the Kamo River and on top of a freakinโ tall mountain freakinโ sweet freak yeah man thatโs where itโs at,โ he writes.
Sure, man. Whatever heโs smokingโฆ I want it!
Weber posted the video on Reddit, according to LADBible, with the caption: โMy girlfriend broke up with me after planned a trip to Japan. So I brought my Dad insteadโฆ and made this music video.โ
The video ended up going viral and has been viewed on YouTube almost 908,000 times.
Weber actually isnโt a stranger to weird music videos.
Itโs kind of his thing.
The Harvard student has a few different weird music videos including one of him playing guitar in the bathtub and another of him on his balcony. You can check them out here.
