Tiny homes are a big deal. Home owners opt for this smaller housing because it is cheaper and easier to manage. Tiny homes can also be mobile, meaning you can take them anywhere. This housing trend has caught the internet by storm, and it has inspired some pretty creative people.
One man had a dream of building his own tiny home, but it wasn’t so that he could cut down on costs. Instead, this visionary artist wanted to turn his house into a masterpiece. When Daniel Blagovich set out to build this space he had some pretty lofty goals, but now that the work is complete everyone agrees that it is absolutely stunning.
He named his home the Little White House. This is not because it resembles the home that the President lives in; on the contrary, it is because every last thing in this house is white. The result is simply breathtaking.
When Daniel originally planned to build his tiny home, he had some specific goals for the project. He wanted this creation to double as a studio, and he only wanted to use refurbished materials. Many of us upcycle our old goods into new crafts, but what Daniel planned on was a much more daunting task.
The house is fully functional, and while it is all-white it doesn’t look eccentric or plain. Daniel carefully chose each piece of furniture and decoration; it is all blended together into a classy, conventional home. The chipped paint and uneven brush strokes give each object an antique vibe, making it feel like a true artist’s home.
The house is situated in the perfect spot for a cozy country feel. Daniel has already started a little garden, and he plans to work on it more each summer. The lush vegetation is already making the house look like a loving home.
Simple decorations are elegantly placed to give the home a rustic vibe. This house is meant to be an artist’s paradise, and the finishing touches scream artistry. Daniel has more than accomplished his goal in this respect.
On the inside of the home, white has taken over. White bedsheets and pillows dominate the white loft, and crystal chandeliers hang from the white ceilings. This space might be tiny, but it certainly looks glamorous.
Mirrors are cleverly organized to make the space look even bigger. The white walls and mirrors work together to create the illusion that the walls are much more open. Each mirror looks like it was hand picked to sit exactly where it is, leaving the room as a masterpiece in its own right.
There is only one aspect of the house that isn’t white: the built-in fireplace. If you’ve ever had a white fireplace you’ll know that these don’t stay white anyway. The warm red against the white background makes the fire look even more cozy than usual.
The fireplace required a little extra work to build, but once it was in use it was all worth it. “I wanted a place to have a fire in the winter,” Daniel explained. “Gradually it got bigger and the ceilings got taller.”
This home might be tiny, but it was expertly designed. It has plenty of shelf space and room for decorations. It can pretty much hold everything you could ever want.
Rain or shine, you’ll never be bored in this house. Every detail was designed to maximize space while keeping it comfortable. This is a dream home any artist would love.
A home is an extension of yourself, and Daniel really outdid himself with this masterpiece. Who wouldn’t want to move into this lovely white house?
