Owning the stage is not an easy thing to do. On top of getting over your nerves, you only have one shot to showcase your craft and hope that people love it. This little girl had no problem winning over the crowd when she brought the house down with this incredible tap routine.

Mia Leon is a 12-year-old tap dancer, who stole the show at this 2020 dance competition
At the beginning of the video, you can only see Mia’s silhouette as she gets ready to put on a magnificent display of tap-dancing extraordinaire. The competition was in Kansas City, at the Radix professional dance center.
When the music starts, Mia immediately begins dancing with her back to the crowd before suddenly turning to start the brilliant tap routine. With a sparkly purple uniform, the young girl practically has fire coming off of her shoes!

Her arms and legs are constantly working throughout the whole routine, she shuffles and taps her feet all while maintaining a huge smile. The crowd is mesmerized as the little girl gives the performance of a lifetime
Halfway through the video, Mia starts spinning like crazy and doesn’t stop for a good 10-seconds. Most people would be falling over, but the young tap-prodigy has no problem nailing the awesome spins.
She just gets better and better, there is some serious athleticism in her spectacular performance
Mia doesn’t skip a beat the entire time, she does phenomenal maneuvers with her hands jolting out in unison with her tapping-feet. I’d be on the lookout for the talented young dancer, her stellar tapping will probably go viral in no time.
Mia has a great energy to her, the gleeful kid showcases her abilities all while looking directly at the crowd. She was born to dance, her stage presence is right on point.

Make sure you watch it all the way through, the last 35-seconds is the best part. Mia unleashes a barrage of ridiculously fast taps, each step perfectly aligned to the music. The young lady doesn’t hold back, leaving it all out there on the stage like a professional dancer.
She’s not done yet, Mia has one more trick up her sleeve to end the tap exhibit. The last part is sure to entrance the onlookers, the pre-teen has to have won over the judges.
