Harrisburg, Pennsylvania is the site of the annual Horse World Expo where the nationโ€™s leading equestrians, educators, and entertainers gather under one hoof for all things equine.

Part of the event is the Parade of Breeds, โ€œan educational presentation giving visitors a glimpse of many magnificent breeds.โ€ Anyone can enter if they fulfill certain requirements, among which is to promise that the presentation is โ€œeducational and presented in a professional manner.โ€

In addition: โ€œHorses should be well-schooled and under the control of the rider at all times.โ€

But one little foal didnโ€™t get the message at one event.

Meet Blitz!

In a video uploaded to YouTube from the PA Horse World Expoโ€™s Parade of Breeds, we see one little guy put on quite a show. And weโ€™re not entirely sure it ended up being educational even though it was hilarious.

There were two horses in the ring at the time, a female Haflinger, also known as the Avelignese, and her young one. Theyโ€™re well-known for being among the worldโ€™s most beautiful horses.

The foalโ€™s name is Blitz and he was only 21 days old at the time! Anyone who knows horses knows theyโ€™re wild and gangly little things at that point.

And Blitz lived up to his name as a trainer showed off mom, who was well under control, around the ring.

Weโ€™re not sure why the little one was there, but he certainly provided comic relief!

The minute the horses and their trainer come out, Blitz takes off. He gallops in front of mom for a while before taking center stage on his own.

He even does a little jump to show off as the crowd cheers him on! (Sadly, the footage of it isnโ€™t very good, but you can see it at around :19 seconds into the video.)

If we donโ€™t know any better, weโ€™d say this foal has the zoomies!

We wish the picture quality was better, but the only footage appears to be from a fan sitting pretty far away from the action.

But they manage to catch some great moments, including when Blitz decides to go solo.

Of course, at 21 days old, he wants him mom pretty quickly after that, so as she goes prancing by majestically he pounces on her.

(We think if horses could look embarrassed, mom would be cringing right about now.)

Luckily, the crowd is willing to give up the potentially educational presentation for some laughs. At least theyโ€™re learning what kind of self-control a 3-week-old foal has.

And thatโ€™s none, in case you didnโ€™t get the hint.

Blitz does traipse alongside his mom for part of the presentation, so we know he can do it.

Heโ€™s just a stinker!

โ€œI was a bit worried at first that the foal was actually frightened. But he has his ears cocked most of the time and does indeed seem to be simply full of energy,โ€ said one commenter.

While we canโ€™t claim to know what Blitz is feeling, it really does look like heโ€™s having fun out there โ€“ and thatโ€™s precisely what puts a smile on our faces.

Youโ€™re only young once!

For her part, mom is on point and hopefully she knows that everyone in the audience enjoyed seeing her little foalโ€™s show.
