We are constantly amazed by how incredibly talented animals can be. You have probably seen your favorite routine so far at the circus or an aquarium. Plenty of animals are known for their stunning performances, but cats are not common among them. This pet owner is out to change that.
Meet the “Uptown Funk Kitties,” seven adorable little siblings who are sure to put a smile on your face no matter what kind of day you’re having. These coon kittens grew up in Maine with their loving owner, and their lives have been full of music. This cute and cuddly litter has been working on a special dance that no one can watch without feeling pure joy in their hearts.
These kittens are masters of choreography. They all stand in perfect alignment on their own little stage, which is decorated in a polk-a-dot cloth to make the display even more darling. Just an image of the kittens standing in a row is enough to make your heart melt.
The fluffy little felines have learned to perform to “Uptown Funk” featuring Bruno Mars, which perfectly explains the name of the group. These kitties get their whole bodies into the rhythm – from nodding their heads, to leaning side to side, to even shuffling their feet. Talk about talented!
The kitties wait patiently for the song to start. Then, at the first beat, all seven roll their heads in unison. There is just nothing like it! As the introduction to the song progresses, it is clear that these kitties have plenty of rhythm. They are expertly synchronized throughout the performance.
We don’t think about our pets having a connection to the music we listen to, but these kitties really get into it. One even throws up her paw in the beginning – she is definitely feeling the music. This kitten choreography is like nothing you’ve ever seen.
These furry felines are certainly talented, but they couldn’t have done it on their own. Their loving owner came up with the whole routine and patiently worked with the cuddly stars until they had the entire performance down. Her hard work has certainly paid off.
How does she do it? Convincing an animal to hold a pose is no easy task; teaching several pets a whole routine is next to impossible. Luckily, this owner is cunning and creative. She captures the kittens’ attention with a blue bird. Their cute little eyes are locked on the bird as it flies back and forth across the room.
The bird is the real ring leader. As it flies through the kittens’ line of sight, each one tracks it attentively. When the bird changes directions, the kittens turn their heads the other way. This owner’s ability to interact with her pets at such a high level proves that she is, indeed, a genius.
With the mystery of the kitty choreography solved, we are left with only more questions. How did the owner convince the bird to fly in those patterns? How did she convince the kittens to stay in a line instead of jumping out at the bird? And what could possibly be more adorable?
