Kittens are always being pushed around by big dogs. They are tiny and timid, which makes them easy to control. One kitten broke all the rules when a dog tried to intimidate her. She held her ground, and she even gave the dog a run for his money.
This tiny black kitten was minding her own business when a Rottweiler took a sudden interest in her. This big brown and black dog was bound by his leash, but that didn’t stop him from getting right in the kitten’s face.
He pulled forward as far as the leash would allow and unleashed a great howl. The poor kitten was terrified! She leaned back toward her hind legs, cowering away from the sound. But nothing happened. The dog barked at her, but he couldn’t get to her.
After a moment of this, the kitten began to build up her courage. Her ears and tail relaxed as the big dog lowered himself onto the ground. She thought it was all over, but she was wrong.
The dog opened his mouth and barked from the floor. The kitten’s tail spiked straight up when she heard the barking. Then the dog stood up and walked off to the side.
When the kitten saw her attacker backing off, she got excited. Her little feet scrambled as she entered into an attack mode of her own. Now, it was on.
At first when the dog barked the kitten scooted back a bit, but after she realized he could not hurt her she began to shuffle forward.
In a surge of courage, the kitten charged at the dog. The hound was in complete shock – he sat up and slid back as the kitten came toward him. When he finally regained his bearings, he continued his harassment.
The two went back and forth for a minute, but the kitten held her ground the entire time. It takes a lot of guts to stand up to someone bigger than twice your size – this is one brave little kitty.
The animals’ owners could not help but laugh while this microscopic kitten continued to intimidate the great big dog. As it turns out, the old saying is true: size isn’t everything.
